Every Halloween I order specialty items only available at this time of year. I made two orders of over $100 each. The first order never arrived. The second order was poorly packaged and everything inside was broken. Of course they're all out of stock so I got none of my second order either. When I called about the missing first order, I was told it was lost and they could do a reorder for me... Unfortunately, most of those items are now out of stock too, so in spite of ordering early in hopes of getting them well before Halloween, I ended up with nothing but a headache, lost time and now eventually a refund. Customer service was very apologetic but because each purchase was over $100, I had to be transferred to another department to get my refund, which was another 30 minutes lost waiting on the phone for a second customer service rep. I had already been waiting a month for this shipment to arrive. My feedback: Michael's; pack it better! Track it better! And please figure out a way for people like me to actually GET the items, especially when it's the Michaels stores fault. Why should the customer end up with NOTHING in the end but an apology, and having to do the run around even for that much....
Read moreWent to get birthday balloons two bunches with 7 on each. The employee told me to come back in half hour. I instead came back in an hour ten mins. When I walked into the store I saw one bunch started only 4 balloons filled. How the hell does it take an hour and ten mins to only have 4 balloons done??? I was furious inside. I stood in line waited my turn at the check register, I asked the employee just want to know how much longer is it gonna be for my balloons because it's been an hour ten mins now. He gives this ooops look and walks over to fill balloons. Slow as shit, pops a balloon because it was filled too much and there's two other employees standing around doing absolutely nothing when they could be helping. Half an hour later I got my balloons. Total wait time an hour and forty mins. They helped all the customers at the register in line and completely forgot my balloons. I am as much of a customer as those ringing up their items. I just paid earlier and had to wait but waiting for the amount of time I waited is RIDICULOUS!!! Never going back there again to...
Read moreWhat is not to love about arts and crafts, or any DIY project for that matter!? Something about the completion of these projects and being able to admire them is very gratifying on its own. Add the recognition you receive from others who admire what you've done and ask, "Where on earth did you find this lovely item?", or "Who did you hire to come take care of this for you??" Finally there's the magic moment when you get to tell them that you did it yourself. When I walk into a store like this one I have to be very careful. Careful not to loose track of time, and careful not to spend all of my dimes. The possibilities are endless and for someone like me, where the biggest issue is having too many ideas... I get lost quickly. The staff here are friendly. I haven't had to wait long when getting fabric cut, or waiting in the checkout line. The only reason that there is a missing star is because there were areas that were low in stock. One last thing is that this location is part of a very large shopping area and there is a lot of traffic. Please...
