Iâve only been to K&G twice first time (April 26, 2025) and yesterday Memorial Day (May 26,2025) . When me and my son went in April it was amazing!! I believe his name was Tom helped me pick out something nice for my son/ Tom was the sweetest and quickly found us something that caught our eye! Now tom should get a raise his presence screamed elegant and kind. We couldnât try the top on due to store policy and we were in a rush so we ended up just grabbing a few things just in case we couldnât find anything where we live (I live 40 minutes away from this location).. I called the store before I came to make sure it was ok to return the items if we still have the tags itâs just been ripped off by my teen and a gentleman let me know it was fine to return. So I walk in happy go lucky, there is a young lady servicing a customer so I proceed to wait in line. Then a grumpy lady named KIM appears from the back with a DISGUSTING attitude doesnât greet me or anything looks at the bag in my hand and says âis this an exchange/returnâ I say âreturnâ and she gets even more annoyed as if sheâs seen me come in and return multiple things before or Iâm some kind of scam artist. She looks at the stuff and aggressively throws it down then asks about the receipt, I tell her they asked for my number when I came she rolls her eyes and say âwhatâs your numberâ I give her my number and she proceeds to say âI donât know why he wouldâve told you that you can return this we wouldnât even be able to resale itâ so Iâm thinking sheâs gonna tell me no which was fine but she then says put your card in.. so at this point sheâs returning the items but telling me basically how â itâs going to wasteâ as if sheâs trying to shame me in returning something. Sooo embarrassing to a Vet on Memorial Day! That lady needs some customer service training seriously I can only imagine how sheâs treats her coworkers and other customers. Itâs like she was trying to get a reaction out of me so bad. Idk if people do returns here a lot but that exactly how she treated me. I I was having too good of a day to let her transfer that nasty negative energy on me. She does NOT need to be working in the front. No customer wants to be greeted with a nasty condescending attitude.. like I was taking money from her wallet! I would like to know whatâs being done about this so please leave a name and number for me to call to speak to someone. Highly disappointed in the way I was treated tonight at this location. I know people go through stuff in their life and she may have been tired and overworked but it gave âhere come another one of them returning somethingâ. DISGUSTING and I will be following up with corporate to make sure no one ever feels like I did last night with Kim. I wouldâve rather her tell me no we canât take the shirt bc so and so but she ended up doing a refund so there was no reason for her to tell me a customer that yâall wonât be able to resale it when all you have to do is put the tags back on or put it to good use and give it to a shelter..she made it seem like it was going straight in the trash.. if I couldnât return it, I wouldâve sold it online or something.. I am going to explain what happened: Yesterday Saturday September 3rd, 2022. My family and I decided to go the K&G by Town Center mall. We were looking for a suit set for my teen, and we found a set that he liked. He tried it and it fit perfect, we only needed to hem the pants, so I decided that was something I could do. When we were ready to pay, the cashier told us that the jacket and pants did not match, so he called a lady named Patt. She looked at me and told me that that they were incorrect and took the pants and left us standing there and I had to go and find her and ask her what was going on. She told me that we switched the pants and it was why we could no buy that set. I explained to her that we found the set as it was, we only looked the size that was on the hanger and it said 38S, my son tried them and fit, so we were going the get them for him. She was very rude and called the manager. When I explained to the manager what happened, Patt said that she said she never told me or implied that I switched the pant, she said âI told you someone switchedâ we all know exactly what she meant with that. I asked the manger to please find us the jacket that goes with the pants size 31 and the pants that goes with the jacket that turned out was a 40S slim fit and we would buy both sets. They could not find the correct jack or pants that will match either piece. They found one set that was 38R with the correct pant size and the other 3 of that style and color suit sets werenât correct matched. I told the manager that we could just buy the mismatch set that fitted our son and she answered that they donât sell the sets that way when obviously the had sold mismatched sets in the past or they wonât have all the mismatched sets. Only looking at this style she found that 3 of the 4 sets were a mismatch, something is very wrong in this store. The manager lady said that their policy is to return to their provider all the mismatch sets. We left and decided that they are more stores with affordable suites. We felt that we lost our time and we were mistreated and received the worse customer we ever received in our lives. My advice, go somewhere else, the mall is just around the corner and they have good prices and a lot of styles to pick, donât waste your time and do not take the chance to be treated as they did to me and my family.
