Horrible customer service. Plus, the sushi meat was mushy/warm. The hibachi was dry/overcooked.
Our waiter was a blonde, female waitress with glasses. She was only there to help me and my three other guests for about half our visit until a larger party of people arrived at another table (not related to us). As soon as they arrived, she quietly dumped us without saying anything and left us to fend for ourselves.
After 35 minutes of waiting by ourselves, we were finally able to ask another waiter to speak with her. We asked her why she didn't returned. She said that she just came back from a funeral of her friend and tried to fake some tears for us and walked away. It was obvious that she dumped us to get the larger table of customers so she could receive a larger tip in the end. If she was so heart broken about a recent funeral, why was her demeanor so happy when she was first serving us and while she was serving the larger table of guests. I believe it was faked.
We spoke to the manager (who we never saw in the building until he came to us) about the bad service and horrible food. He said he wouldn't take anything back and wouldn't discount anything because he believed everything was perfect. They wouldn't even apologize for their rudeness.
They charged my credit card before they let us speak to their manager. What a scam!
I will never go here again and I would never recommend this place to anyone ever! It's never right to treat any customer in this manner. If you come to work, you should treat everyone with a positive attitude and never dump a table of customers half way into their meal just to try to make more money with other customers.
Try another restaurant in the future that actually guarantees their satisfaction and treats your and your guests with respect.
Stay away from this...
Read moreIt's hard to say whether or not this was the worst dining experience I've ever had...? Just kidding, it 100% was. I went in a whopping 45 minutes before closing and the store was empty, I figure whatever, I'll be done in 30 minutes. I start to sense something was wrong when the waitress (who has blue hair) slid the soy sauce at me so aggressively it almost toppled over, then proceeded to ask in a rude voice "What can I get you?" As if she were blaming me for coming in during the hours they were open. Then the funny part is the Chinese sushi chefs at the sushi bar, where I was sitting, proceeded to talk smack about me in Chinese, even though I can understand every word they are saying, and better yet, I look Chinese. They said fun things like "Ugh, why is she here so late? That's so weird." and "Wow, now she's not ordering" and other snide little comments, pretty loudly and obviously. Good job hedging your bets, guys. Very clever. Then, this guy proceeds to make the incorrect dish. So there you have it folks, incompetence and a horrible attitude, all in one convenient package! Honestly, the food was whatever. It was what you would expect from sushi in the north suburbs of Georgia. If it were food alone, maybe it could get 3, even 4 stars that I see on Yelp. But it could have been Michelin star quality and that still wouldn't change any of the sheer disgust and anger I felt from having to experience that kind of service. I even paid and left before 9:45, 15 minutes before closing....
Read moreI definitely would not come here again. We wanted a variety of sushi and figured the all you could eat sushi would be a good deal. Unfortunately it was not. We ordered 8 rolls in total and 6 of them looked and tasted almost identical and not good at all. Basically all a mixture of cream cheese, avocado or cucumber with different names. Almost no crab, shrimp or fish in any of them. They also made sure to put the most rice I have ever seen on any sushi roll. Over twice the normal amount of rice on each roll to fill you up quicker and make the sushi more like a rice cake. Probably the worst part was that you are charged 50 cent per piece left on the plate. Meaning if you get a roll that is terrible or all rice (which we did) then you have to eat all 8 pieces or pay an extra $4 to avoid the misery of suffering through it. Do your self a favor and choose another place to waste $30 a person. There is a reason the place was almost completely empty on a sunday during dinner. Volcano is super expensive but atleast delicious.
Update: tried sushi Bros in woodstock. They have all you can eat sushi and hibachi for $24. Food was excellent. Go there and have...
