First of all my daughter's bright me here for my birthday last week. When we were first seated the table was sticky, the host wiped it down only for it to still be sticky when I had her feel it. She moved us to another table. Then my waitress can't with a new waitress in training, they were excellent but I realized when I mentioned my birthday no one knew about the rewards birthday treat I'm offered which is a free dessert. Instead she immediately said she would make sure I would get some ice cream. But I'm the email for my birthday year I'm offered, other desserts. I wasn't even asked if I'm a member and if I had the email, which I think you should train your employees to do know these facts so a customer knows their options. Next we ordered my kids each had pasta, I had the al la carte crab legs with butter on the side, mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese. When my crab leg arrived, lol smh...I get one, you literally get more than that for a pound at the grocery store. I try mashed potatoes and they were cold, sent them back and they can't back much hotter than I got them at first. Anyway I crack it open and taste some of the meat. It was grainy and dry as if it was old or over cooked so I went to dip it in the butter sauce and it tasted like straight water. I stir it a little thinking the butter settled to the bottom but no, it was water. My kids tasted it and agreed it was water. This really sucked because I was so disappointed and had my heart set in seafood for my birthday that I could only eat my side dishes. At that point I didn't even want anything else. There's not even anything on the menu to choose from that was appetizing for me. I didn't even want my so-called birthday treat (ice cream) because I knew I was gifted in an email with other dessert selections. I can truly say this experience ruined my day and I'm still a week late disappointed and unfortunately unfulfilled. As far as the atmosphere is gloomy and humid, we day with a full table of guests across from us where the mother was telling and cussing her kid out for something he did at the table. That was crazy! But at the end of the meal my kids gave a lovely tip regardless of my meal...

When he asked the waiter his reply was that it was supposed to be served at room temp. I find that hard to believe, but ok. Then my baked potato was hard as a rock as if it was reheated from 3 days ago. I got a big meal - lobster, crab and shrimp. The lobster was so tough I couldn't even peel it out of the shell. The shrimp were excellent. On to the crab. I was not given anything to open the crab with but some kind of pulling tool that I had no clue what it was. So I asked the waiter could I please get a crab cracking tool. He replied that they didn't have any because their waiters had stolen them all and red lobster refused to keep replacing them. Excuse me? Probably need to learn how not to overshare that kind of info. Cringe, because these are the folks you are trusting to take your credit card for payment. Just didn't sit with me well. So the manager comes and brings me fresh lobster and it is much better. He explained they just didn't use the crab cracking tools anymore. Well now after that 5 min convo my crab legs were ice cold. Overall this visit was horrible. Also be aware they do not just include the salads anymore. On top of the $47 meal, you have to pay $1.99 extra for that. Really not quite questioning why they are going out of business so rapidly after this. You can get a ton of food at the juicy crab across the street for $50 for two people. I'll be choosing to go there next time. Also will add the dining room was so dark because they had so many light bulbs out. This is not a good look - thank goodness there was natural light to be...
Read moreexceeded my expectations by far! I'm 50 years old and I had never been to Red lobster, for the last few years i had The thought a few times of, gee, I really wonder what Red lobster is like. sometimes people joke about it and what not but I had a phenomenal experience. The service was very attentive but not overwhelming. The food and presentation was awesome. I really should have taken a picture, it looked like what you see in a commercial. I got the surf and turf without the filet upgrade. but either way it's a great value and price and the food really was delicious. My wife is super picky about her lobster and we've been to nice lobster restaurants where she didn't like it, but she loved this one when I gave her some bites. Even my super picky young daughter didn't hate it (she was always too scared to try lobster before) and that's saying a lot. The fries were crispy, hot, and well seasoned, and we are pretty critical about subpar fries. and my broccoli was very flavorful. My son got the mahi, He's unbelievably picky about his food and he really liked it. My daughter liked her chicken tenders and ate them all, and my wife, who, as I said is really picky liked her shrimp scampi a lot. We all tried her shrimp and everybody liked it, and there was so much. I have a whole lunch portion worth of leftovers from her that I'm going to eat today. the portions were very large. honestly. . my meal could have fed two people but I have a huge appetite. We often try to find places that's a good fit for my family to meet up with my parents without anyone having to spend a fortune and this was clearly a winner for us that I told them about and we all agreed we'd be coming back to...
