SimCraft ELITE Racing Simulators!! That says it all! I first became aware of SimCraft racing simulators in 2016. I did research, phone calls, input from pro coaches, spoke with the owners / designers, etc. In the course of a few days I tested three motion simulators, even hopping a plane to go from DFW to Atlanta to SimCraft HQ - I tested their SimCraft APEX 3 racing simulator last - I’m VERY glad I did! The collaboration and design input / feedback on the project was simply AMAZING!! A key challenge was that my sim room is in a hallway with some interesting angles. On May 5, 2016, a MASSIVE crate arrived along with Matt and Sean from SimCraft, they built the racing simulator from the multiple frame pieces on up to the finished prize! A beautiful work of manufactured art that is a must have if you are serious about racing!! I should mention this: of all three that I tested back to back, the SimCraft racing simulator gave me the most real feel!! The banking at Daytona, the big air hill at Lime Rock - yes, I felt it in my stomach!!
The customer service from the SimCraft team over the years has been outstanding!! I’ve done some nice upgrades to it over the years, all handled by their team of professionals. A totally top-notch team that KNOWS racing simulators!! If you are interested in full motion racing simulators then you owe it to yourself to test it!!
The APEX 3 has definitely furthered my racing career and development as a racing driver. The ability to test on a complex track before ever turning a tire on it is immensely helpful! Keeping refreshed between races helps keep you up to speed as well. Yes, I’m sold!! It’s worth your time - and that’s what a professional racing simulator does - it helps you...
Read moreAs I approached retirement, I wanted to finally get involved in racing. Rather than owning an actual race car and risking injury, I looked into finding a motion racing simulator. I discovered SimCraft at a Barrett-Jackson event in West Palm Beach and was impressed by how nice the simulators looked. The demonstration coordinator was more than happy to let me check them out, and after a short discussion, he said, “Why not give it a try?” Well, I was hooked—it was as close to real racing as I could imagine.
I have some experience driving a real IndyCar, but the immersion only took a few minutes to bring back that same feeling. Sweaty palms, holding my breath, and a shaky leg, just like the first time in the IndyCar. Fast forward a month, and I was ordering my simulator. The process of ordering, building, and delivery went just as they described. The installation team took their time setting it up, giving me a class over two days on how to use the simulator and tips on improving my driving skills.
The only issues I’ve had were with iRacing, not SimCraft, and they helped me through those with minimal time spent on troubleshooting. I became a SimCraft customer the day I ordered my simulator, but now I feel like I’m part of the family. I’ve even raced with a few of the guys from time to time. If you’re looking for a realistic racing simulator, look no further than SimCraft—I haven’t...
Read moreI recently drove four hours to meet with SimCraft to demo their sims, while they have an impressive design, the actual experience didn’t live up to the high price point. Unfortunately, the performance felt underwhelming and lacked the realistic immersion I would expect from a top-tier system. Based on my experience with both their product and their owner, I can’t recommend this company.
I setup the meeting in hopes of establishing a business partnership to buy and subsequently promote and sell their simulators. The initial conversation with the sales representative was positive and professional, and I appreciated his time and knowledge. Unfortunately, the meeting quickly took a turn when a senior representative (presumably the owner or manager) entered. His abrasive approach and dismissive attitude made it difficult to share my vision or discuss potential collaboration. He demanded immediate answers on 'what I could do for them,' threatening to walk out if I didn't respond to his satisfaction.
Given the time and effort I invested to attend this meeting, I expected a constructive dialogue about mutual value. Instead, I was met with an unwelcoming and unprofessional attitude that left no path forward for purchasing a sim or...
