Got a dress with my girlfriend there some months back for her homecoming. Employee let me stand in the back no problem near the hung “unwanted” dresses so I could hold more dresses and so my girlfriend could show me the dresses.
Went yesterday to get a prom dress with my girlfriend, was holding some dresses for her and went back near the unwanted dresses just as everyone else. Me specifically because I am male was immediately told “I can not be anywhere near the back because I am male and there are minors back here.” I told her how is my girlfriend supposed to show me her dresses then? She told me “she will have to come all the way out. NORMALLY that wouldn’t be much of a problem, but Windsors changing room and changing room line set up is so inconvenient in that because the line of 30 people is squished right in front of the only entrance all forced to stare.
I asked the woman at the front desk who I believe was the manager why I wasn’t allowed to stand ANYWHERE near the back to see my girlfriends dresses and that before a previous employee allowed it and what’s with the change. She told me with an attitude “because your a man” I said why is everyone else allowed? Rudely again returned with “your a man.” Right off the bat not a friendly store for fathers/ Significant others Basically anyone who identifies as male or is assumed as male by Windsor.
So my girlfriend with SOCIAL ANXIETY was forced to demo one of her dresses in front of 30 strangers who because of how the line is set up have no choice but to all stare at you. Overwhelmed by being stared at by everyone my girlfriend decided to leave Windsor.
She left her phone in the changing room, went back amidst tears and was close to a panic attack due to the entire situation, luckily a kind woman (not member of windsor staff) recognized that and helped search for it for her. She was told it was returned to lost in found. So my girlfriend and I went to the front desk and told them she left her phone, ALL staff ignored us, manager shuffled around looking for the phone, handed out the wrong phone with her only words to us being again rudely “this it” we said no then she handed us the other which was the right phone without any word, we received...
Read moreThis is the most unprofessional rudest store I have ever shopped at. I came here to shop with my sister and her best friend for their homecoming dresses the ladies that work in the dressing room were a disgrace they were extremely rude and treated me with very little respect. I went to the dressing room with my sister so she could try her dress on and I waited outside of the dressing room. The lady said that I was not allowed to stand back there unless I went inside with my sister but you would think she would need her own privacy not to mention the room was barley big enough for two people to stand. I’ve been working in the retail industry for over seven years, it’s like people have no respect anymore it’s and it’s disgusting. Lastly, when I asked the cashier to put a dress on hold she very rudely said that they do not put dresses on hold on the weekends. Which I do understand, but she could have been nicer about it. Then I asked her if they had a yelp or Google review and she said that she didn’t think so. So I made sure it was so. Even a drive-through at McDonald’s or Burger King would treat my family and I with more respect than these people who call themselves employees. I will never return here unless the new south of employees are hired with...
Read moreif i could do like negative stars i would, the customer service is was absolutely terrible and i get people having bad days but even if i have a bad day at work i put a smile on my face because i’m literally getting paid to be there, the woman running the cash register kept yelling because people was trying to get dresses off the top rackets but i never once saw anyone go over there and help them, she yelled more than a few times, i wish she would think about not yelling because she never knows if someone in that store has PTSD, i didn’t see no reason for her yelling, i went up to the register and was about to ask for the shoes i wanted in my size and she told me to move because the people behind me had stuff had to check out, she told me this before i even asked for the shoes. The clothes here was very cute but none my size and that’s not there fault but i stayed there with my friends while they shopped. The staff that i spoke to throughout the store was rude, like forever 21, there was maybe 3 staff i spoke to actually nice and helped me. Don’t recommend if your trying to speak to a staff about what size you should get or which outfit, your going in there to grab stuff and leave then you do you. but the customer service...
