Kokee Tea - Town Center at Cobb — Restaurant in Kennesaw

Let’s begin with the cashier. As a customer I appreciate being acknowledged however not in this manner. She was yelling at my sister and I “I can take your order when you’re ready,” “next customer please I can take your order.” She said this phrase three times before I finally was able to speak and say “Thank you we appreciate it, however we are still deciding and are not ready.” Her attitude was negative and borderline condescending as we were ordering and after we ordered. We receive our drinks and my sisters is wrong. Hard to believe her strawberry mojito was suppose to be a mojito since it was missing mint and also ice so it was warm.

She and I leave dissatisfied but not for long. I go back In to see if there can be some sort of resolution. I guess mine and my sisters contempt was noticed by the teenaged girl employees because they were all in a huddle, their backs to the entrance, glancing through the windows at us and talking about us. I end up noticing a girl who looked like a manager since she was dressed differently from the others. I ask her to exchange the mojito for a different drink since I have my drink to my sister. She said ok but we will have to charge you. Excuse me? You’re going to charge me for a new drink even if it’s half price to be made even though your staff have messed up and also have poor attitudes towards us. What kind of policy charges to have a new drink made? I’ve never heard of that.

It if wasn’t for the fact that Starbucks on this mall had gone out of business due to the pandemic, this place would not be going nor would it have the business it has. I’ve been on the other side of the register as a sales associate or manager in retail as well as a hostess and server in the restaurant industry for over 10 years and I have never experience the attitudes that were displayed today. I use to go there on my break and everything was good. Now they seem to be closing at 3:30 everyday? Like there was a lot of people who wanted some tea and young man said no we are closing.

I’m assuming they’re closing for their break? But if it’s for people why are all for taking a break at the exact same time? I’ve never heard of that practice

i bought the brown sugar boba there today and paid extra for no ice, extra for double boba, and extra for coconut milk because i am lactose intolerant. when i received the drink it had no ice but wasn't even close to being filled all the way, had less boba than the people that only bought one serving of boba, and i thought they at least gave me the coconut milk i paid for. i thought it was strange that it tasted like it had normal milk in it but my questions where answered when i got one of the worst stomach aches i have...
