I have been going to this barber shop for 2 years before they moved a cpl doors down. I try to support local and most of all ethnic. They are now showing their true colors, the last 4 cuts I went there suddenly Cris the owner don’t want to cut my hair. He was the only barber there last month and he walked off and left me sitting..

Another day he directed me to one of his rookie, barbers. I said no “ I want you or the guy in the first chair to cut my hair. He insisted I go to one of the rookies. The rookie pushed my hair line back! And totally messed up a simple “low fade. I’m sorry it’s my money I am not begging . I don’t want every rookie that just finished barber school cutting my hair .

Today I went in for a cut Cris tried same thing again “ telling me to go to one of the rookies” I said I will wait till you are done. He said he is going on break after the one in the chair. I walked the $&!% OUT I will never set place in place again HORRIBLE! CUSTOMER SERVICE! and no respect for black people. Which is typical of the Dominican attitude that think they are higher and better than black people.

Ultimate Cuts Barbershop took my Husband as a walk in on a Sunday morning. Since it's before a holiday, they were slammed! We had a one hour wait. We were not taken in the order of walk in. People who came after us went first. Grrrr. Ultimately, my Husband looks PHENOMENAL!!! Great job, Ultimate Cuts! See before and after pics. Reasonable prices and good service once you get in a chair. My only drawback is the extremely loud Spanish music. Uggh. Now, if it was a different genre, it might have been more enjoyable. But it was not to my liking. Back to the ambiance... HAIR EVERYWHERE! No, they do not clean in between customers. Also, there is a large garbage can where customers sit that hold used dirty face towels....

Refused to cut my dads hair after this was his go-to spot. He was waiting then the barber literally refused to cut his hair and to go with anyone else. The door says they open at 8 but my dad had to wait til 9 for them to open. The barber chose to cut a white guys hair over my dad who was there first. My dad was discriminated against, and theres another review that was also discriminated against. Doesnt surprise me. This white man didn’t even have an appointment either.
