This was our first stay here, and it may not be our last. Super friendly and accommodating staff. Well-located for our needs. Less than 10 minute walk from grocery, restaurants, and other stores. The elevators don't take forever. The rooms are comfortable and have the usual amenities. TV with a million channels, microwave, mini-fridge (no freezer compartment), two free waters, closet, mirrors. two night stands chairs, desk, two types of blinds for the windows, A/C, heat, phone, separate bathroom including tub and shower, carpeting. Clean, no bad odors. We had just one roll (partial) of TP and we had our Do Not Disturb sign out so we were bypassed and with TP running low, we asked a cleaning attendant if we could have a roll, and she gave us two. In-house restaurant, basic foods at the front desk. Breakfast is available but it is NOT complimentary, so plan accordingly. Dogs allowed. Quiet, set back from the road so no road noise. We visit Pasco annually and may stay here again if it's less expensive than the hotel across the way where our conference is, or if our blocks of rooms get booked up again. My only complaint is no complimentary breakfast. Fitness room, pool (small), meeting rooms, covered entrance for unloading in inclement weather. Free Wi-fi that's easier to use than any place I've ever stayed at. Goos lighting, nice decor. nothing to be repaired in the room. Ice machines. Key cards, secure doors. The bathroom has soaps, towels, tissues, etc., and the shower has three bottles on the wall for pump shampoo, conditioner, and body gel. Coffee maker and ice bucket. Comfortable bed with...
Read moreWife and I stayed one night Jan 16 2016. Check-in was prompt and friendly. Entering our room, it was 61F and adjusting the thermostat wouldn't make the heater come on. I called the front desk and she offered to switch rooms. I agreed and we had to back to the lobby and get another room. We got in our room and noticed one half of the bed was soft and the other half was firm and uneven. We adjusted the firm-soft controls to no avail. We both like soft mattresses. We each took turns sleeping on the firm side and had to use pillows to offset the unevenness. We both were up most of the night fighting the unevenness and firmness. My wife ended up sleeping in the chair with a footstool. Needless to say, we woke up the next morning sore and tired. Checking out, I told the receptionist about our bed mattress problem and she vaguely explained you have to wait 10 minutes after making an adjustment and tried unsuccessfully to explain how the mattress worked. There were NO instructions in the room on adjusting the mattress. I later found information on-line about how the mattress worked and adjusting it requires specific instructions. Even with this knowledge, there was something wrong with our mattress causing it to be uneven and the firmness never changing. The receptionist did not have a friendly or concerned attitude but did say she would have it checked out. No concern that we were sore and lost most of our sleep. We will never stay at this hotel ever again. The hotel need to do a better job of explaining how to operate the adjustable firmness mattresses and do a proper...
Read moreAMAZING lobby, very nice job with the remodel. Great restaurant there with plenty of comfortable seating for socializing with friends or relaxing. I never thought a lobby would be something that I would add to a hotel review, but this one felt very clean and airy.
Service was top notch. I was greeted with a genuine smile every time I walked by the front desk. Top notch service.
Rooms were just ok. I would say slightly above average. They have everything you need and really nothing more. Its not as modern as some of the other brand's but its clean and comfortable.
Water pressure was not great, but not terrible. I'd say like 5/10.
Beds were great. They are on the softer side and standard for Hilton. I love their mattresses. Good variety of pillows with different softnesses, which is something that I notice and love when hotels do.
Pool was great, 10/10. Clean, lots of towels, close at a reasonable hour, it didn't feel muggy inside the pool room.
My only complaint was Hilton's nickel and diming you if you aren't a silver or higher level member. The basic internet struggles with 1080p youtube and loading anything besides basic webpages. I paid for the premium internet after using it for 5 minutes, and it was a big improvement but I feel like at the rack rate of this hotel it should be included. Breakfast was $16?... I just drove to McDonalds instead.
Despite my gripes, I still think this is in my top 2 hotels for Kennewick. I would say its a tossup between this hotel and the Best Western across the street, which had smaller rooms but better basic amenities like a...
