This business is not run with the intention to grow their customer base. The owner also doesn't write you a legitimate receipt which to me sounds fishy for a legitimate business.
The owner/manager practically scammed me out of the few hundred dollar subwoofer. He told me I had a one year warranty on my subwoofer. After a month of using the subwoofer I purchased in a car I only drive on weekends, the subwoofer started making a strange noise. When I brought it in to show the owner and inquired about having the subwoofer swapped out, he told me he would rather "super glue" or drill a new hole to fix the loose part. He then told me his assumption of how the subwoofer broke, which placed all accountability on me.
Can you imagine taking your new phone, computer, and/or laptop you purchased to a store that sold it to you after it having issues and their answer is "this is your fault?"
I responded in a communicating my displeasure with the way the owner was handling my issue and disclosed that I was a District Manager overseeing numerous stores and that I have never witnessed poor customer service the way he handled this encounter. His reply was " who is the boss?" multiple times, eventually even asking another person also behind the counter. Thankfully the other person's answer was "the customer is the boss" which the owner quickly disregarded. I left this store while the owner was still yelling at me and trying to justify his poor problem resolution skills. I could even still hear him in the parking lot.
To make this long review short, don't learn the $300 lesson I did today and waste your hard earned money at Audio Connections. If you are looking for a reputable, professional, and legitimate car stereo shop. AUDIO CONNECTIONS IS...
Read moreAWESOME WORK...HONEST & FAIR. I have been to a few car audio places in my day (since 1989). Some are bad, and some have closed down due to retirement or the decline of interest from consumers. I recently had a DIFFERENT shop install a couple of components but my EQ kept burning out...twice. I was suggested by the manufacture to try a different installer, and have my wiring looked over I, like many of you reading this was unsure WHO, now a days, is good. I strictly based my decision on these google reviews and AUDIO CONNECTIONS in Kenosha was my choice.
Rich (the owner and installer) took on my challenge and "fixed" what the OTHER shop couldn't. His charges were also very fair. It's installers like AUDIO CONNECTIONS, consumers like yourself, and reviewers like me, that can keep the aftermarket car audio going. I have and will continue to promote Rich and his business whenever I can.
This is my first google review, I am just a regular guy, and I am not getting compensated for any part of this review. please DON'T HESITATE to have AUDIO CONNECTIONS do work for you. Lets keep aftermarket car audio alive !!, because we all know, FACTORY systems... just...
Read moreRich was great help who found everything I was looking for. He shows how passionate he is to car audio and does a clean job.
Never did I think when I got my car back that he would say "i cleaned the whole inside of the car and did a little detail job for you." He cleaned my whole inside of the car! I have a kid who is anything but clean when it comes to getting in my car. He really went the extra mile for me. He also said it would take him half a week to rewire, new speakers, radio, the whole works. He hit a grove and got it all done in a day a half so I think it's safe to say that he doesn't believe in breaks while working. Ever need audio work done or anything else he offers, get it done here. Will be clean and perfect job well done. Honestly, don't even waste time comparing prices, rich might not be the cheapest (not a shot at him) but he gives you a top dollar job well done that cant be beat for the price. Only thing I wish i did differently was not wait so long to bring my car in to get all the work done. Whatever you need, rich is your guy. Highly recommend for any...
