I had taken my wedding ring into another jewelry store (before “The Diamond Connection” was open) to have my ring resized and cleaned. When I picked it up it still felt snug and the gold on the prongs for the center stone looked black. I thought maybe it was the lighting, but it bothered me. It went back into my jewelry chest as it was still too small. (I figured I just picked the wrong size). I would get it resized when I got the extra $. Then, “The Diamond Connection” opened. I took my ring in to get sized and cleaned. When we were figuring out the sizing, “Susan” told me the size it was at. I had her repeat it to me. It was the EXACT same size it was when I first got it!! The other jeweler never resized it! ( but charged me) trusting Susan and her staff, I had them resize, clean and check my ring. When I went to pick it up, I was told the other jeweler actually “burned” the prongs for my center stone. (This is why it looked black to me). Susan explained everything they did to clean and polish my ring, and......when she brought my ring out......I WAS AMAZED!!! It looked BEAUTIFUL!!!
