S&T Nails — Local services in Kernersville

I have been coming here for years and I normally spend $100-$200+ almost every time getting a pedi and sns but today was my sign to leave and try somewhere else as much as it saddens me. The tech scraped the top part of my feet raw as you can see by the pictures. I did not make a big deal about it since I did not want to make her feel bad for it but it burned when she sprayed my feet and even put the scorching hot towel on top it. I let that pass. Then I’m getting my nails done and I asked her if she could please file my index finger nail straight as it was crooked and last time I got my nails done here they did the same thing and filed them crooked causing my nails to grow back crooked which I usually don’t have a big issue with. Anyways they made it seem like a big deal and we’re not listening to what I actually wanted. The owner suggested that I put a fake nail halfway on my real nail so it can go straight. I did not feel like I needed that since I’ve always gotten my nails to grow straight if they simply get filed the right way and I prefer my natural nails. Anyways I could see they were talking about the issue right in front of me and making me feel bad for it which I did not appreciate after being a loyal customer and spending a lot of money there. I ended up telling her I did not want any fake nails to just cut my nails and I’d regrow them back. I also filed my own nails afterwards in my car and made my index nails as straight as I could so I can grow them back out the right way. It almost seem like they really don’t care about the customer or actually helping make your nails healthy ..they would rather just cover it up instead. Also I still had to go home and remove hair after getting my eyebrows wax. All this was really disappointing since I actually don’t mind spending money where there is good business but the service is not worth the cost...

I really want this to be my go to nail place, but I don’t think I will ever go back at this point. I called today at 2:45 to see if they had any appointments for this afternoon. She said to come at 3:45. I gave her my name and said great! I got there a few minutes before 3:45 and Ann seemed to hesitate when I gave her my name and said I had an appointment for 3:45. I shrugged it off and went to check in on the tablet and choose my color. There was another person waiting in the front area. Around 4:00 Ann came over to the other person waiting and asked if he had signed in and confirmed the services he was asking for. She then walked over to me and said that it would be 35 or 40 minutes until they could get to me and that I may want to come back. I asked why she would give me an appointment if they didn’t have any availability. She said they had some walk-ins and were short handed today. Should an appointment not take priority over a walk-in? I’ve been turned away here before when I did not have an appointment, so I know she can say no to walk-ins. Why offer appointments if there is no intent to honor them? I understand that the timing can be off and you may have to wait even with an appointment, but to have an appointment and be asked to come back another time because they are too busy with walk-in customers is...

I when to get a simple pedicure, I asked for a french and the lady who did it left me a mess around the edges of my nails, I didn’t complain at all instead I only gave her $2.00 tips which byway she did not deserved for her poorly job done to my feet, so she made a rude comment to the rest of the people working there about me only tipping her $2 and they all started lounging and making negative comments, she wasn’t happy with $2 tip like is an obligation to leave tips 😡 generally I am very generous when someone do a work for me, but if I am not satisfied with the job you do I won’t tip you good simply as that, also the people working at this nails salon being eating alive their clients talking about them on their own languages because they think no one will understand what they are saying not knowing that just like they comes to America and learn out language, we can go to their countries and learn their language as well in fact some of us don’t even have to leave the country to learn their language, good thing is that we have so many others nails salon around to go to that I won’t go there ever again, I also have millions of followers and will not recommend this...
