Del Taco — Restaurant in Kernersville

UPDATE: My children were asking to go back again and so we got take out on Saturday. We first tried to order online. Set up an awards account but online orders were NOT an option. Nor could I receive credit for my previous order due to the store information not bringing on the receipt. Not a big deal, I'm sure they'll have that fixed soon? My issue was that someone came up and ordered our food on the kiosk for us and got it ALL wrong. So $60 of our order only to get home and half the order missing or incorrectly put into the system. Either let me order or have a register to take it for me. There wpuld be a question about who was at fault if they hadn't taken over. We knew more about the menu than the worker. 1st REVIEW: I’ve been waiting for this place to finally open! I’ve visited two different Del Taco locations in California before, and while this one wasn’t quite as amazing as I remembered, it’s still so much better than anything else we have around here.

My go-to favorites are their cheesecake bites and the bean burritos, which I honestly think are way better than Taco Bell’s version. Overall, I’m just glad to have Del Taco nearby now — it definitely adds something fresh to the local...

I love Del Taco, and I understand that you just opened, but I think this needs to be addressed in case someone needs additional training. I used to visit frequently when I lived out west. Today, my order was incorrect. There's nothing more disheartening than receiving an order that isn't made to your liking, especially when you've paid extra for specific additions.

It seems like the cook might have misunderstood the ticket. When a customer requests something to be added, the usual ingredients should remain, and the requested items should be included, particularly if the customer has paid extra. All three of my items had additional ingredients that I paid for, but the only thing added was the free cilantro. My taco didn't receive the extra ingredients, and even the tomatoes were left off of my taco.

To clarify, when adding extra ingredients, they should be in addition to the usual ones, not replacing them. This is especially important if the customer is paying extra for those...

At the end of the day this is fast food so I'm not looking for perfection, just good/decent food for a good price and it meets that criteria. Everything just gets more expensive these days, so I am super satisfied with the quality and flavor of my food when eating here for a decent price!

Great customer service, I am always greeted with a smile and its very clean! So I know my food is prepared in a clean place which is a plus!

To add to that, for fast food, it is not greasy and is pretty clean tasting, do not feel heavy after a meal which is great feeling.
