Iâve waited about a month to leave this review thatâs how angry the assistant manager in training, Caleb, made my family and I. Memorial Day we (4 adults 3 kids) went out for dinner. Waitress was pleasant and training a new employee. We ordered our food and at the table across from us the manager came out and told a customer they didnât have a certain item at the moment. Then the waitress came out and told us that they didnât have two of the entrees we ordered. No problem!! Ordered two more replacements and went back to waiting. Food came and one of my sides was out. My wife cut into her chicken and it was RAW. Brother cut into his steak was RAW. Got the waitress to check it out and she grabbed the assistant manager, Caleb. He checked things over and determined there was a problem. Only good decision he made that evening. Offered a 30% discount on everything. Came back and the ticket was $100 for 6 people to eat!! Checked and all the items the waitress told us they didnât have were still on the ticket including the raw foods. Told Caleb that we NEVER received these items and food was RAW and would not be paying for them and then he tried to explain that he took everything off with the discount. When I tried to tell him that the discount was applied to food we never received he decided to get an attitude and determined I was completely wrong and an idiot. Proceeded to argue with the whole table that what he did took care of it. Took the ticket back and the bill came down to $75 after all missing items were taken off!! BUT NO 30% DISCOUNT NOW!! So we casually asked him about that and he proceeded to argue again!!! Interrupting and telling us âOK, coolâ in a snarky disrespectful tone when we tried to explain where he went WRONG. I told Caleb to get the real manager because of his disrespectful tone and ignorant actions. When the General Manager, Chris, came to the table, I explained everything to him and he understood. Caleb came back again and the ticket was around $50!! A lot more reasonable for 3-4 missing items and 2 Raw meals!! Chris offered his condolences for our horrid experience and offered to let the meal go for free for all the issues we had. I have never ever EVER came across such a RUDE and IGNORANT food service worker especially an ASSISTANT MANAGER. That was the worst dining experience I have ever had in my entire life. Not because the food was raw or missing but the complete lack of RESPECT and DIGNITY for a customer. I have never ever had a screaming match in a restaurant with a manager or employee ever in my life. Caleb you have ruined my Cracker Barrel experience forever and I will never EVER return to a CB again ESPECIALLY the one on pecan ln. Chris, thank you for your hospitality and understanding I wish we would have worked with you from the start I think there would have been a lot less problems and I would return one day but because of Calebâs actions that day, I will never ever go to this place again. Have fun with this...

Rating: â â âââ
I recently visited here with my wife and 10-month-old baby, and unfortunately, our experience left much to be desired. From the moment we arrived until the end of our meal, we encountered several issues that significantly impacted our overall satisfaction.
Upon arrival at 12:45, we were informed that there would be a wait time of 30-45 minutes, despite the presence of numerous open tables. This initial delay was frustrating, especially considering we had a young child with us. Eventually, we were seated, but it took an additional 10 minutes for our waitress to approach our table.
Unfortunately, our waitress seemed disengaged and disinterested in providing quality service. She appeared to be under the influence of something, as she repeatedly asked me to repeat my order. This lack of attentiveness was further highlighted by the prolonged wait for our drinks, which only arrived after I had to seek assistance from a manager to obtain the biscuits we had ordered.
To our dismay, the waitress prioritized serving three other tables that arrived after us, even going as far as delivering their food before ours. When our meals finally arrived, they were lukewarm at best, lacking the desired level of freshness and flavor. Additionally, our appetizer was served after we had already finished our main course, which was a disappointing oversight.
Throughout the meal, I found myself sitting with an empty glass for an extended period, as our waitress failed to check on us regularly. This lack of attention to detail and basic customer service left a sour taste in our mouths.
Overall, our experience here was far from satisfactory. The combination of a lengthy wait time, an inattentive and seemingly impaired waitress, delayed food service, and lukewarm meals left us feeling disappointed and frustrated. We hope that the management takes note of these issues and takes steps to improve the overall dining experience for future patrons.
Total time spent here 2.5 hours and this was for a total of 4 eggs 5 biscuits 2 cups of tea 2 pancakes and 2 slices of...
Read moreWe made a $150 order, at 13:45, over the app for curbside pickup, right as/before leaving after stopping in GSONC to pick up someone.
The app said our order would be ready at 14:14 hours. 14:35, food finally started arriving, but they had no peach cobbler, so my spouse said the manager said that She can have a pecan pie instead.
Got parked in a to-go spot. We had arrived about 14:05 some 9 minutes early. We called them from one of our phones (the number on the sign that is) to let them know we were there but could not get an answer.
Then after one of us went inside to pick up the food instead of curbside now. I called at 14:09 (That mere 3 minutes later) and got through. But I said no need because we've already gotten inside.
To beat all, I went inside to see what was going on, and couldn't help but notice the sanitation rating of 86.5 dated 03MAR2023MON....
We are finally leaving at 1443 what an atrocious experience.
And to add insult to injury my spouse realized (As we were driving out down Union Cross road to the interstate) that they didn't give us our two teas for the kids meals (We had bought a half gallon of tea for the adults.)
I seriously doubt we'll ever go back to this location, even if they gave us $150 worth of dining cards
I seriously wonder if our food will be even tepidly warm by the time we make our 15-minute trip. [10APR2023MON UPDATE: the food ended up still being fairly warm, all those the country ham was pretty stiff and chewy to eat. Apples were good mac and cheese was good green beans was good but at what price and I don't mean money?]
As always say you get one chance to impress me. That may explain though why there were "Now Hiring" signs on the building, The reverse side that is.
And my spouse reminded me that according to my recommendations, we added 15% tip to the order. That was $20 wasted. I doubt seriously that I will ever tip any cracker barrel take out, that...
