I do not know how long this place has been opened. It use to be a subway. I happen to drive by and see the restaurant name change to Brothers Cluckers. So I stopped by and went thru the drive thru. I order a small order I think 2 chicken tenders and fries and drink for 5 dollars and some change. When I bit into the chicken it was juicy and it melted in my mouth. It's very good. I have been back several more times. I got tenders and hush puppies with my order and husband ordered Mac n cheese. He said it was very good. So far all the times I been it has been tasty and good food. I did order banana puddings and was not impressed. But I did not eat it right away I put in fridge and ate it about 8 hours later. By that time the whipped topping had melted and it tasted awful. The food is very tasty and drive thru employees very nice and place on outside clean. I have a fetch app where you scan receipts and get gift cards. When I scanned my receipt from Brothers Cluckers it came up as Zaxbys. But Brothers Cluckers do remind me of Zaxbys. They have tenders and chicken sandwiches and salads. Sides are potato salad which comes out of a container. I ordered it. I do wished it was home made. Fries, Mac n cheese, hush puppies that are good and not cooked to hard. There's to much to list. But this restaurant will definitely remind you of a Zaxby's. You get a good portion of food and...
Read moreI love supporting small businesses and try to do so as much as I possibly can! But after our visit last night, I don't think we're going back. Last weekend I ordered a cheeseburger and it was really good, but my husband mentioned the guy at the drive thru window had long hair and it was messy/not pulled back neatly/no hair net. This is not me complaining about someones hair style, but it seems there should be some kind of regulations when you're working around food. Our food was good but for the prices I felt like the meal should comes with drinks. Regardless, we went through the drive thru last night. The salad is nowhere near the quality it was when they first opened. It was large but it was just shredded iceberg lettuce with a few cut up tomatoes and a few slices of green peppers(with fried chicken). They used to include chunks of cheese and avocado slices, and roman lettuce, not anymore. I was surprised at the lack of quality for the price. But, to make matters worse!! My daughter bit into her chicken sandwich (about halfway through) and a long piece of hair came out with it. That completely ruined our appetite! Not to mention, last weekend and this weekend, the person at the window was not friendly at all and seemed like they couldn't care less about what was going on around them. There was no friendly smile or...
Read moreI had the mix 2 w/ oysters and flounder fish, fried okras & hush puppies. The oysters weren’t fresh but had a very good flavor and very high potential so I will return to try some fresh ones. The flounder fish was kind of strange as the breading was sliding right off of the fish. Seasoned well though not too much not too little. The fries were just fries not salted much. The fried okras were very very bland. We also ordered a chicken tender tray with French fries as eel the tenders are AMAZING. very nice size, good taste, fresh. For two plates we paid $29 which isn’t bad at all. Although they don’t come with drinks. The service was pretty good. Went through the drive thru the white chick with short hair took our order and was pretty attentive & organized. The wait was about 7-10 mins. Which I don’t mind being that we weren’t in a rush to do anything but if you’re trying to come on lunch break I’d suggest you rather not to save you some time & trouble. For the most part everything was pretty reasonable, I do see myself returning sometime soon to try more things on the menu! Also the drive thru is really confusing and the parking lot is extremely small so if you have parking anxiety like myself...
