Hibachi of Japan — Restaurant in Kernersville

This is my #1 spot to get food from if I'm not cooking at home and have the time to pick it up. Their teriyaki chicken with white sauce is second to none anywhere I've eaten hibachi style food. I've also had some of their other options which I believe include red snapper and that was just as enjoyable as the chicken, I just prefer the texture of the chicken.

Their rice is made separate from the bulk of the vegetables so if you have picky eaters it won't be a problem. The rice is very mild in flavor which makes it a great base to deliver the rest of the food which taste amazing.

The plates I get are served with zucchini, onions, and the meat option. The meat and veges are always drowning in a very good tasting but thin teriyaki sauce which mixes very well with their white sauce.

I typically order to go so I can eat it in the comfort of my own home, but they have plenty of space to dine in and have yet to have a bad experience after years of going here, only wish I could go more often than I do.

I’ve been trying to try this place for 2 months since I moved to Kernersville from Greensboro, but they were never open during business hours. I should’ve taken it as a sign, because although they were sorta busy & the customer service was phenomenal, it was actually the worst hibachi I’ve ever had. Great place that we found because we needed to go to food lion...
