The staff was very friendly and helpful with the initial purchase of my chair but after purchase was not as helpful. The fabric I wanted was not in stock so I had to special order it. I was told it would be 6-8 weeks for the chair to come in. I called to check after 8 weeks had passed and they told me they were not sure why the chair had not come in but would call me back and let me know what the hold up was. I never heard back and got the same answer the next two times I called to check the status of the chair. I felt like I was getting the run around when trying to find out what was going on. The chair finally came in after 15 weeks and they could have cared less that it took double the time quoted. It would not have been a big deal if they would have just let me know what was going on or simply said I'm sorry this took so long to get. My dad, who is 72 years old, bought their recliners from Cedar Hill Furniture. They had previously purchased a recliner from La Z Boy in Beavercreek. One of the springs broke in the recliner, and they didn't remember where they bought that particular recliner. Dad went to the La Z Boy "Galleria" in Beavercreek to inquire about getting a replacement spring. He was told that they couldn't help him out, and were dismissive of his concerns. I believe that they should have offered to point him in the right direction, at least, but they didn't. Dad went to the Cedar Hill Furniture in Kettering, and the manager took him to the back, where the service technician has his work area. The manager gave my dad the replacement spring he needed, he installed it yesterday, and the chair works fine!! Outstanding shopping experience! The employees are very helpful and do not hover while you browse the showroom, and when needed are willing to go above and beyond to help. I also happened to meet the owner who was very pleasant and took the time to educate me on furniture I was looking at and differences in how furniture is made. I ended up purchasing an England sofa, and the salesman worked with me to get my order delivered asap. Upon delivery to my house, the guys were very professional and took their time maneuvering my furniture into the house. Overall this company is very trustworthy and stands by their products.
