I love this store. My mom, sister and I usually visit Kiawah once a year and we make sure to visit GDC. We have purchased decor items and jewelry from them over the years. I was visiting Kiawah recently and visited GDC. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. The store still has great items, but not a single person spoke to me , not even a "hello". With a family wedding approaching quickly, I worked with Millie Byrd to redecorate our beach house and she did not disappoint. I went in for a third visit today. We moved to Seabrook 6 months ago and need to add some furniture to our new home. I had the same exact experience I had the previous two visits - no one said hello to me or asked me if I needed any help. Even as I looked through fabrics I was left on my own.
