This has been the most unprofessional transaction I have experienced with any retailer.
I was contacted by Ally, a LoveShackFancy representative, who offered me the opportunity to pre-order. She stated that if I did not make the purchase that day, I could miss out. I provided a detailed list of the items I wished to purchase and, at her request, sent my card information via text. I was subsequently charged nearly $600.
When my order arrived, it contained only four items — two of which were incorrect. I was told to wait for an additional warehouse shipment that never arrived. Despite multiple follow-ups with customer support, they had to request twice that Ally contact me, and only then was I offered a 20% discount on a future purchase as the “resolution.”
Given that Ally personally took my order, it was her responsibility to inform me of any stock issues or changes. I have been a loyal LoveShackFancy customer for years, and I find it deeply concerning that an employee is soliciting orders and requesting sensitive payment information via text message — a practice that is both unsecure and inappropriate.
This experience has resulted in a significant financial loss, a complete breach of trust, and a tarnished view of the brand. A nominal future discount does not begin to address the inconvenience, the errors, or the lack of transparency involved in this...
