I used to like using this store when they first opened but in recent years the staff has been increasingly rude and the prices are majorly inflated. Additionally, thereās been several times when Iāve shipped luggage (not a normal thing but had to) that Iāve asked them to box the pieces (as every other place does) and they have sent them unboxed.
Most recently I went to ship something that needed the label printed. When they printed it incorrectly (as the layout needed adjusted for their printer before printing) I was told they couldnāt do it. This takes 2 seconds to do. I myself couldāve easily done so. I was then told I had to pay for the computer to print it myself. When the printer wasnāt reacting to the multiple times that I pressed print and I asked for help the response was āitās not going to workā. Finally, upon printing them correctly, I asked for a box. She tried to give me an envelope and I said that Iād prefer a box. The conversation that transpired had a lot of eye rolling and attitude in it. With me being offered an envelope several more times. I would have been happy to pay for said box- I just donāt like sending soft goods in envelopes. The last straw was when I asked if they had brown packing paper that I could line the box in. Most shipping stores have this. I again offered to pay for this and received yet another eye roll with the answer ānoā.
The person in training was lovely but the staff that was present training her was not. The bottom line is, if someone would prefer driving all the way out to James island or west Ashley for shipping (which I will be doing), then the level of customer service is really super low. I hope they can get a better energy and attitude here as it would be convenient to have while out on the islands.
