I went there yesterday to return the circuit 3 machine and the tools that work with it because my receipt was expired they said they could not return my merchandise. Mind you it was still factory intact nothing was opened or touched I tried to tell the woman the manager whoever I was speaking with that the person we gifted this for had passed away. This was already a hard thing for our family to go through, but all this nasty manager could say was we could give you in-store credit. If my money was good enough to purchase this stuff then my money should be returned back to me and you can have your merchandise back. The framing department is understaffed, so you can expect a long wait and bad service. What you won't be able to predict, but may encounter is damage to your artwork. There was white adhesive in two places on one of three very expensive prints. They tried to wipe it off with a paper towel, which removed some of the giclee archival ink. They also punched holes in two places of the backing of another print. They offered a small refund after a 30-minute scramble of their assistant manager calling other employees at home. The person who damaged the print with the paper towel also offered a 70 discount off the next framing job, but how could anyone trust them after botching this one so badly. I will like to report a Michaels employee verbally attacking this young delivery man before he even walked into the store. She was loud and aggressive towards him which could be heard from inside the store. I’ve been a manager for 30+ years (now retired) by what I heard it had something to do by placing the packages near a door. Regardless, this could of been handled differently.
