World Market — Local services in Kildeer

I would like to say a special thank you to store manager Mike at this location. Mike’s store was 1 of 3 stores in the country that had a sold out painting I had been on the search for. It was completely sold out online and on clearance, so I knew my chances of finding it were slim but I decided to head to my local World Market to get a list of stores that had it in their inventory and start calling them. I quickly discovered after calling a few stores that World Market does not typically ship to their customers from the store if the item is not available online (even if the customer offers to pay for shipping), nor do they typically ship store to store. Out of the 3 stores I spoke to that had it, Mike’s store was the ONLY store that didn’t completely deny my request to ship it. Instead, he suggested options for how we could make it work, even though they cannot take credit card payment over the phone for security purposes. He even came up with the solution to ship it to my local store location to spare me the shipping costs AND without making me pay for it over the phone in case there is any damage to it during transit. My painting will be here at my store in Charleston, SC this Thursday, and I look forward to finally going to purchase it. Thank you, Mike, for your excellent customer service and willingness to help me when other store managers wouldn’t. I would highly recommend this World Market to anyone in this area...

Always so much to see, only downfalls were a lot of rude customers who would ask me to move as I was trying to look at an item as the other ailses where just too far away to go around me. Also a cashier who was talking to a customer-full blown life conversation; while the other cashier checked out 4 other people. I went to the other cashier and MS. CHATTY cashier finally ended her conversation, and as we began to put our items on the other cashier area she asked us if she could check us out. I told her "no". So rude to ignore your customers and just have a conversation with someone who already paid, leaving other customers waiting over 10 minutes. Hope she isn't the manager, that would reflect even worse on the store. Next time I go here I would not go...
