Island Dyes Inc — Local services in Kill Devil Hills

Best tobacco shop ever!!!! I'm from all over Nc, but nothing has compared to this shop. Not only is the shop very nice and full of some very cool tobacco accessories and incredible glass work, for much more than fair prices!

I ended up going to the other shop out here, island tobacco, cuz they were open later and i was 10 minutes late to get here, and i purchased a waterpipe front them but it was impossible to see the crack at the bottom around the circle that connects the base, which to me seems like a flaw front the blower, but they gave me such an attitude when i came asking for a refund cuz out was broke. Luckily i got the refund and headed straight to Island Dyes! Not only did i get a waterpipe that was MUCH better, AND an ashcatcher worth was much as the pipe, but that only cost half of that refund, so i was able to get tons of other awesome stiff, even a nice grinder! These people are so awesome and gave me such a great deal because i was 10 minutes late for closing on 4/20, and then island tobacco ruined the holiday for me, but Island Dyes really made my day by far, they definitely made up for my horrible 420! The people here are really incredible people too and thru just couldn't be anymore helpful if they tried! Overall it's really a perfect store, i wouldn't change a thing, and i definitely advise you to come here and get quality glass and great process instead of going to island tobacco and get treated rude and pay MUCH Z more for a broken piece. Island dyes responded to my review by lying again, nobody expects you to know other stores inventory, but when asked specifically where the smokeless solutions was they said it was 2hrs away inland, that was the actual issue, so they could make a sale, instead of saying it was 15mins away, so weird they are that desperate for a sale

I asked about local spots that had pain rub with THC, they lied, said the place was 2hrs away,so I bought some over priced CBD rub, Smokeless Solutions was in duck, 15mins away, I found out from the vape shop nextdoor and got a card for a 10% discount on pain rub from the vape shop, I would never go to island dyes again, it's a rip off, spot, with horrible service, over priced and just jerks for not being honest, the vape place next to it people couldn't have been nicer, island dyes is just expensive bongs and tourist shirts, really really pathetic they needed a sale that bad, to rip me off, then lie, don't waste your money, go to the vape shop next to it just to drop in and see the nice people who will actually help you out, it was annoying to be in pain, waste money at island dyes and they could have told me it was 15mins to go get exactly what I needed at...

I'm giving five stars only bc of Katy. That other guy today needs to find another job if he hates it that much. Worst customer service I've had anywhere. And I've worked retail, restaurants, customer service jobs my entire life. It was my first visit, I was appaled by his disrespect and his attitude. I will return hoping this message/review finds him in hopes to change his customer service techniques. Seriously. I was there about an hour ago. So.. yeah. Dude.. you were rude af.
