Very, very disappointed and upset with Nyle Maxwell Dodge in killeen, Tx. My husband shopped for a pickup truck for many months. He finally found exactly what he had been looking for at Nyle Maxwell per owned âcertified â car lot. With the belief that we were at a reputable dealership and purchasing a âcertifiedâ vehicle. He purchased his truck in May, was given a power train warranty. (What a joke) The first few days after having the truck we noticed a leak in the passenger side front floor board. Brought it in and it was addressed and fixed right away at no cost to us. As it should have been! A few months later we started hearing a rubbing-thumbing sound in the front driverâs side tire. We brought it in immediately. We were told they would check it out and do a multipoint inspection and let us know what was going on. And as long as we had any repairs done there we wouldnât be charged for the multipoint inspection. A few days after dropping it off we received an estimate for over $5000! Saying that his front and back brakes needed to be replaced along with the driver side hub bearings and upper ball joints loose sway bar links and upper control arms. And told it all needed to be replaced quickly due to safety concerns. And that the hub bearing was disintegrating. ( upon research this takes years and lots of miles to get to this point) So this on the less than 4 months owed âcertificateâvehicle! We went to see a manager Shawn, who also noticed that both front and back brakes passed their âmultipoint inspectionâ yet we were being advised to have both replaced. Shawn said heâd speak with the service department and get back with us. Needless to say, we had to contact him because he never reached out to us. He then checked on the power train warranty we got when purchasing the truck, and what do you know, it would have covered the cost on a 4 wheel drive but of course not on a 2 wheel drive! Wow! Shawn then pretty much blew us off and said there wasnât anything else he could do for us and directed us to see if we could get possible discounts on the parts through the service department. We were told that it was a mistake that the back brakes were added to the estimate, but the front brakes definitely needed to be changed ( although both passed their multipoint inspection on the original paperwork) . So they basically just took the back brakes off the estimate and a small insignificant discount on the other parts. My husband also explained that this truck was his income as it is needed to do his job. They had the truck for over a week. And we had to call and remind them that we needed this vehicle back! We walked out paying over $3800.00 on our lees than 4 month old âcertified vehicle â. That should have never been allowed off the lot with the dangerous defects that it had! We will definitely be driving out of town to a more reputable dodge dealership for future maintenance. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone. My husband and I have both lived in killeen all of our lives and always try to support our local businesses! Nyle Maxwell dodge will not be receiving any future...

NYLE MAXWELL SENIOR MANAGEMENT, PLEASE TAKE NOTICE OF HOW YOUR DEALERSHIP IS BEING REPRESENTED. CONGRATULATIONS ON TAKING ADVANTAGE OF AN ELDERLY MAN! For readers of this review⌠Please, save yourself and buy a car anywhere else. I donât know how my father in-law has purchased 5 or 6 vehicles from this place over the years (previously Dodge Country).
Traded in a 2018 Dodge Caravan on a 2024 Chrysler Pacifica Limited. The deal was what it was. A classic tale of âWeâre losing money on the deal, thereâs nothing more to give. Need a rating of all 10âs.â Father in-law obliged with all 10âs based on the âWe Oweâ items and matching verbal agreements. The deal didnât really matter. Dealerships always win, even more with a trade in.
What matters is the amateur-hour removal of the VA provided power wheelchair and its power lift. The Nyle Maxwell product advisor took ownership of coordinating with the medical company that previously installed the lift to have it moved to the new Chrysler Pacifica. The Finance Manager informed us he advised the product advisor to personally hold the old van keys until the removal/move/uninstall could be performed. Nope, didnât work out that way.
After two days, I received a text message (on a Saturday) informing, â**âs Medical will not respond back to me. My manager said the lift and wheelchair has to be removed. They sold the van.â
My reply was quite simple, âYes. We've known the lift and chair need to be moved/removed. Your manager sold the van prematurely it seems while determining the correct course of action. I'll need to contact *'s Medical on Monday at 8am (when they open again). Lift and chair removal needs to be performed by factory authorized technicians trained for installation, removal and maintenance. Do not remove it.â Crickets, of courseâŚ
Nothing, absolutely nothing, will keep Nyle Maxwell from making their moneys. Received a phone call 5 days later requesting I come pick up the removed items. Drove down to the dealership twice to retrieve the power chair and lift. The second time I was led to a âPDI facilityâ where we picked up the power wheelchair. The power lift was missing ALL nuts, bolts, washers and mounting hardware and was left behind to encourage them to find the missing pieces. I was told they were âmoving PDI facilities on 12/1 and they canât guarantee the lift will make the move after that.â
The âWe Oweâ had the requirement of removing/uninstalling the lift and chair. The Sales Manager didnât care. Money Money Money. Sell Sell Sell. Worth his weight in something other than gold. The âWe Oweâ agreement was broken!
This entire experience has been ridiculous. From when the Sales Manager engaged until whenever we get the lift and ALL missing nuts, bolts, washers and mounting hardware...
Read moreI would never recommend this place to anyone. I purchased a certified pre-owned Dodge Ram 1500 for my business. Less than a month after having the vehicle I had been back 3 times. My sales guy who no longer works for them helped reset my screen and ports which did work that day. My lane sensor did not operate properly as well. I have been back 4 more times since then only to find out they only have 3 records on file and to be told I had the incorrect fuses and now being told it is corroded. Make it make sense as I have not had any work done on the vehicle and nothing has been spilt in the vehicle so why since April 23 no one has truly diagnosed or inspected this vehicle đ¤ Also, if you all do a full work up before considering a vehicle CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED why no one knew it had the incorrect fuses in the vehicle đ¤ I normally would have let most slide but this is just ridiculous as nothing could have been done or working when returned if you telling me itâs corroded đ¤Śđ˝ââď¸ I will never recommend a CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED VEHICLE from this location. Buy new or go elsewhere. Update: So I reached out to the person that responded on my review only to never receive a call back. Then on March 15 after they already had my truck over a month I needed to use it as I had an event on the 16th. I specifically asked was my console taken apart and was told no all the way up until I got dropped off and was walking to my vehicle to leave then told donât be alarmed your console is taken apart. I open the passenger door and immediately am pissed as I could have tried to make other arrangements. Being I needed my truck it took me a few to pull off then I call as I was at the gas station only for them to not return my call or follow up. Totally pissed and wish I would have never purchased from this dealership đ
Response to Dealership:
The lies you tell. It was bought April of 2023 and brought back 5 days later for the issue plus the lane change issue. There was never a coke in my vehicle as I do not drink soda and you guys never fixed it the first time as it did not work once it tried to be used. So I brought it right back. Then you all stated it was corrosion which means it has been that way since I bought the vehicle as it NEVER WORKED. It has been there 8 total times for the same thing and at no cost đđđ I have insurance that covered my vehicle and then yall still charged me $402.63. Now you can just admit the mistake take ownership and have gotten a better review or dodge and lie as noted in a majority of your bad reviews. I have pictures of the receipt which is included as well as what I paid đ¤Śđ˝ââď¸. One thing I am proud of is not going with the insurance yall tried to offer me as maybe my vehicle still wouldnât be fixed. Which I should go check as I donât us the usb port only when someone rides with me âď¸ now go play with someone else cause I keeps track and receipts...
