Let's face it, if you are going to buy a diamond ring it is no different than buying a car. Cars are beyond a reasonable mark-up of actual cost, this is an understatement. The same with diamonds, everyone knows there is a 700% - 1000% mark-up on diamonds. Yet the diamond industry continues to persuade both the youth and elderly, men and women, that diamonds are more rare than they truly are with catchy slogans like "diamonds are forever". The diamond industry does not discriminate against whom they will fool next nor how much they will choose to fool them by. Dealers such as "The diamond brothers" and many more know this business with diamonds are ludicrous. This is why most diamond companies will typically drop $2000-$3000 off their rings to sell them to you. Because they know in the end you may have saved $3000 on your "retailed" $7000 ring grand totalling your purchase at $4000. But they made $3000 dollars on you because your ring is only worth $1000 or less. But keep in mind the owners of the establishment get screwed as well with the manipulation of the diamond prices. So in all both you and the "diamond brothers" get screwed, so I can't be completely mad at them. For this establishment I gave them a 3/5 stars due to the flexibility that they have with their products however they do not get a full 5 star rating due to the ludicrous idiocracy with the manipulation...
Read moreI have some diamonds that I know to be real. I have tested them with three different testers that I own. I've had them tested through two different pawn shops also. One of the pawn shops has a GIA certified plaque on the wall.... My diamonds tested as natural Earth mine diamonds.... All of them tested just like they should, until they're sent over to Diamond Brothers jewelry store in Kingman Arizona on Stockton Hill road. One time they said oh these diamonds are Moissanite, another time they said... oh these diamonds are lab created. 😂 I know for a fact my diamonds are natural diamonds because I happen to have tested all of them and absolutely proven beyond a doubt that they are natural Earth grown diamonds. One time I asked Diamond Brothers about nitrogen gas particles in diamonds? He acted as if he didn't know anything about it. If they are a GIA certified jewelry store then they should know all about nitrogen and carbon inclusions.
I don't trust these people. I've never, and will never give them my business. Just my opinion,...
Read moreDon't dare go in there and show your knowledge of gemstones much less quietly point out an error they made. The big guy will come out and start a very loud attempt to dress you down. This was an egregious mistake (I was told the diamond was chipped and was worthless. It was not chipped and I traded the dia at the place I purchased it (corrines jewelry, toms river NJ) and got a really nice and big pair of diamond earrings) which makes me wonder if anyone at diamond brothers is a GIA certified diamond 'expert'. Based on my experience with them I will gladly take my business elsewhere especially when he told suzie to give me back my mother's $8,000 engagement ring that I brought in to be sized. I'll take my jewelry purchasing...
