Kusina De Maynila in Kingman, Arizona, is a hidden gem that delivers an outstanding Filipino dining experience—one that, in our opinion, surpasses any Filipino restaurant in Las Vegas. During our visit, we were blown away by the unbeatable prices, massive portions, and the rich, home-cooked flavors that truly captured the essence of Filipino cuisine.
The owner, Sherwin, embodies true Filipino hospitality. From the moment we walked in, he made us feel like family, offering a level of camaraderie that seems to be missing in many restaurants today, especially in bigger cities like Vegas. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and you could immediately tell that every dish was prepared with care. Despite the generous portions, the food arrived quickly, piping hot, and bursting with authentic flavors.
We initially chose this spot based on the glowing reviews online, and after experiencing it firsthand, we can confidently say they were spot on. Others have raved about the crispy chicken wings, flavorful boba, and perfectly seasoned dishes, and we couldn't agree more. Everything we ordered was delicious, well-prepared, and left us completely satisfied.
Kusina De Maynila isn’t just a restaurant—it’s an experience. It brings back the comforting feeling of home-cooked meals shared with loved ones, something we felt was missing from many Filipino restaurants back in Vegas. If you’re in Kingman or just passing through, this cozy little spot is an absolute must-visit. We’re already looking forward to our...
Read moreI’ve been here 7-8 times since they opened and have always got hot fresh tasty food. Service is always good. A bit of a wait for orders but worth it. Portions a very fair for the prices except sometimes with the various fried rice dishes. A bit light on a few of those orders but still enough to get full. This place is a gem. Especially for Kingman. Don’t let the run down building or lot scare you away. Only complaint I have is they put scalding hot food straight out of the wok in to a foam to-go container and it melts the foam in to your food. I’ve asked them to place paper or foil down first when I order now and they do. If you’re traveling through it’s only a few streets off the highway. If you’re towing a trailer you can park directly along the curb out front and get back to the highway by just going around the block in either direction without having to manage turning around in the street.
I’ve had Filipino food in Vegas, Phoenix area, and grew up in San Diego on it as well as work many years with Filipinos in the medical field .. I promise you the food here is as good as any.
They have a bit of American Chinese and Thai style dishes as well. Vegetarian friendly...
Read moreFirst time trying Philippine style food had hopes for another restaurant we could eat at due to the great reviews. There is no dine-in as their website says so we brought the food home. I would give them a 0 rating if it were an option. We ordered Pork Lumpia which was the only thing that was hot and good. The Crab Rangoon was cold over cooked and only 4 of the 8 had anything in them. Four of then had holes in the bottom and the filling was no where to be found. The Beef Teriyaki Bowl was cold and had no Teriyaki flavor and the meat was so tough you couldn't chew it. The Crispy Chicken Bowl with Golden Rice tasted like nothing but fish sauce. Chicken was extremely over cooked, dry and cold on the inside. The vegetables were not even warm. Spent $56 on a dinner we couldn't eat that went into The trash. Don't waste your money...
