Burned pepperoni, ego flares and hairs...
Little Ceasars lost a regular customer today.
Vanessa (the GM), made my family and I some of the worst pizza we've ever had today. I ordered two extra spicy pepperoni and extra cheese deep dishes (our usual).
Once I got home, we noticed that half of the pepperoni was covered by the extra cheese and the other half was on top and burned to a (nearly black) crisp, resulting in none of the spicy pepperoni cupping up (half soggy, half burned). I called them right away so they could make it right and had the (dis)pleasure of speaking to the general manager.
I originally had thought that they accidently put regular pepperoni on them and tried to cover it up with the extra cheese and actual spicy pepperoni. Vanessa informed me that it was indeed all spicy pepperoni and that it turned out that way (with cheese on top of half of the pepperoni making it soggy and the other half of them burned) because of how I ordered it.
Alright, so maybe it was all spicy pepperoni, it's just none of it looked or tasted good. I told her that I had an issue with how it was made regardless and asked her to make it right. She insisted that she made it correctly and was unwilling to credit even just one of the pizzas.
I informed her that I have placed this order twice before and it was perfect those two times and asked her why this order turned out so different. She said that she would figure out who made the first two orders (the perfect pizzas with delicious cupped spicy pep) and get this... write them up...for making it better than her???
I thought it was over after her refusal to make it right but it unfortunately didn't end there. I thought, let's eat what we can, give (a little) to the dogs and toss the rest, but no...
HALF OF THE SLICES WERE FULL OF HAIR! Absolutely disgusting! It was inside the pizza, lN THE DOUGH. I almost called again, but just couldn't put myself through that again (not worth $30 to talk to Vanessa again).
Oh, and Detroit-Style deep dish pizza is supposed to have corners, Vanessa. Press the dough into the corners during morning prep.

When I order a pizza from this store I asked for double toppings because the last two I ordered from here had 1/2 of the entire pizza that was covered with toppings! I use to order ON-LINE to simplify the waiting period, When they tell you 15/20 minutes, you can clock them on the actual 1 hr. Before you get your pizza! Read moreI would not waste your time! I ordered 2 ordered on line. After waiting 30 mins past the pickup time I finally got my email and code. I went in to pick my orders. My orders were still not ready they said another 5 to 10 mins as it was just being boxed up. 20 mins after that the 2nd order I placed was ready picked it up and waited another 5 mins before asking the only young man who was doing everything about my other order he looked in the warmers then went in back to keep making orders. I stood at the counter until another lady came in as her order was not correct. Finally a manager came up to help her. I then asked about my other order by now it's been 30 mins since I picked up my 2nd order so was pretty much already cold. She looked at me then continue to help the lady. I waited til she was done helping them again asked about my order she again looked at me and said I don't know what happened to it.. I guess he's gonna have to make it again. I at this point I've been waiting almost 2 hours so I asked for my money back. She again just looked at me and printed me up a ricept and said here. I took the receipt and asked her what's this for. She rudely said there's your money back. No apologies whatsoever. If you ask me.. They need help and why was the manager not on the register or helping the poor guy in the back.
