UPDATE: It has been almost 2 months and we NEVER heard a word from Wyndham. I seriously considered getting an attorney because the whole thing was so traumatic. Their corporate lack of follow through speaks volumes, and I stand by my recommendation that you avoid this place.

Do NOT stop and this hotel!! We have been traveling for 40 days all over from TX, up to MT, to WA, down to UT, and to AZ and this is the worst situation we have ever encountered - EVER in all of the years of our many travels around this country. Unfortunately, there is something wrong and unstable with the manager, so don’t stop because she should NOT be in a service industry. She is sadly a Karen (no disrespect meant to wonderful ladies named Karen.) While the employees were friendly and courteous, the management is NOT, and does not like you to bring issues to her attention. I had to wash clothes after being on the road for so long, but the laundry room was FILTHY dirty, so I cleaned it as best I could in order to use it. My pictures don’t reflect all of the filth because I took them after I cleaned the tops of the machines and the folding table. I went to the front desk to tell them, and the employee was great and I asked him to have the manager call my husband. We NEVER received a call. We stayed 2 nights and my husband tried to talk about this at checkout, and she became angry and said they had cleaned them, but I have the pictures taken right after she said that to prove otherwise, and she blamed construction workers for how dirty it was. The dust alone had to have been there for almost 2 weeks, but some of the mess was older than that. She also tried to get my husband into the elevator with him—alone. I wiped black mold out of their washer, and grunge out of the lint container in their dryer. They were also the most expensive machines we have ever used at a hotel when traveling. We have filed a complaint with corporate based on what she did and how SHE escalated the situation. If you check all reviews you will see a pattern of issues with management. Listen, there are plenty of hotels on the area so save yourself the trauma that we have been through today. Obviously they don’t care about veterans here, and I took pictures of our room when we left because we caught her in so many lies. Also, one of the employees couldn’t even speak English. What does that mean? Worst hotel stay ever, and if you read my reviews you will find that I try my best to find something positive to say; unless it’s really bad, and this place...

Date of Stay: March 5-6, 2025 |Room: 222 |Check-in: 12:45 PM||Initial Impressions|Despite some concerning online reviews, I approached my stay at the WinGate by Wyndham Kingman with an open mind. I'm happy to report that my experience completely contradicted the negative feedback I had read online.||Check-in Experience|Arrived early afternoon and was immediately impressed by the efficiency of the check-in process. The staff had me settled into room 222 with minimal wait time, which was a welcome relief after traveling.||Accommodations|The room exceeded my expectations with:|- Two extremely comfortable queen-sized beds|- Spotlessly clean facilities throughout|- A cozy sitting area featuring a small sofa (which doubles as a sofa bed)|- Ample space for relaxing and unwinding||Staff and Service|Every staff member I encountered was exceptionally friendly and attentive. Their professionalism and warmth added significantly to the overall positive experience.||Cleanliness|Contrary to some online reviews, the hotel was immaculately maintained. Both the common areas and my room were extremely clean, with no issues whatsoever.||Value Assessment|For the quality of accommodations and service provided, this hotel offers excellent value. The comfortable beds alone made the stay worthwhile, but the additional amenities and friendly service elevated the experience.||Final Thoughts|I would highly recommend the WinGate by Wyndham Kingman to anyone traveling through the area. It's a perfect example of why you shouldn't always trust negative online reviews without experiencing a place for yourself.||For my next visit, I plan to try the Hawthorn, which is another brand within the same hotel property. If it's managed with the same attention to detail as the WinGate, it should be equally impressive.||⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐...

Buyer beware. The Wingate has a price scam. They will advertise their rooms at a low rate at a booking site, in my case Capital One Travel, issue a confirmation number and then reject the reservation. When you show up, they will blame the booking site and ask for a much higher rate for the night. Computer systems do not complete transactions without confirmation on both sides. Capital One Travel provides the hotel confirmation when they provide the email confirmation. I have provided a picture for reference. For your protection, avoid hotels that follow these scams.
