Harbor Freight — Local services in Kingsport

This is my first time shopping at Harbor Freight. I never really knew much about the company until I was online and noticed that Harbor Freight had pretty much anything and everything I was interested in buying.

This store is well organized, clean with helpful employees. One store employee in particular named "Eric" helped me with all my questions as many of the pneumatic tools I wasn't familiar with. Eric took the time to not just help me find what I wanted, but he explained the many differences between the various tools and how they worked.

Eric even gave me a 20% off coupon and even got me a coupon that made a $3.99 light free. I spent well over $600 that visit and have went back to the store 2 more times since. I watched review videos of almost everything I bought and the merchandise Harbor Freight sells seems to be just as good, if not better, that many so-called "name brand" products but cost a fraction of the cost.

My experience with this particular Harbor Freight has convinced me that this store will be my "go to" store before going to Lowe's or Home Depot which to me are almost one of the same.

Attentive, courteous and very informative employees such as Eric means a lot to me. So does getting a quality product at a very reasonable price mean a lit to me. As such, I strongly recommend this Harbor Freight and would gladly give 10 stars...

I want to commend a young man that works at the Harbor Freight store in Kingsport,Tn. My husband and I were shopping there last Monday the 23rd of June. The clerk(I didn’t get his name) said very politely “I don’t mean to pry or be rude but Sir do you feel okay, one of your eyes is really dilated and sometimes that a signal for a stroke.” We thanked him and told him we had just been to the eye doctor and my husband had his eye dilated for a yag procedure. He was very very nice and very observant. We thanked him several times. This happened around noon on June 23rd so maybe you can check the store records and see who was working. When you go into Harbor Freight you automatically know that there merchandise isn't the highest quality but still for the price a very worth while place to shop. This particular store has a excellent a staff, I purchased a roll around tool box on my last visit and not only did there staff spend about 10 minutes to hunt down the advertisement for the sale price of the item of this item (of which I wasn't aware of and saved me close to $60) but also one of there personnel came out to help in a attempt to help me load it in to my car. As you can imagine it didnt fit in my car so they graciously pulled the item back into the store and held it for me until the next day when I could pick it up with a truck.
