We visited Santa Fe on recommendation of a local. The restaurant was fairly busy when we arrived but we waited onlyabout 15 minutes. Our server was attentive and the dining area seemed clean and reasonably new. The guacamole station was rather close to the door but was properly screened with glass. Their fresh salsa was very good. I had the Baja fish tacos which had an abundance of deep fried fish pieces. It was not what I expected and was a little over cooked, but tasty none the less. My husband had a beef burrito which he enjoyed. The one downside I found with this location is that it is sandwiched between two other rather large restaurants and the parking lots, while they appear to be joined and wide open are not. You don't know you're going to be trapped until you're committed. When you go down an aisle thinking you see a parking space but the aisle is full, you immediately reach a tight dead end and it is very difficult to turn around even in my subcompact vehicle. We were so frustrated by the parking situation that we nearly changed our mind about our visit. After living in CA for several years, and trying true authentic Mexican dishes, this place is very close to to it! I do highly recommend coming here. The service is too notch. Our waiter was on top of everything. We came on a Tuesday this time and 16 oz. Draft beers were only $3.00. The food is excellent as well. I recommend getting the table side guacamole. It is definitely worth the price. My significant other ordered the Camerones Aguachili dish. It's large enough to almost feed 2 people. It is also a dish that is served cold, but was a delicious. If your into spicy stuff, I highly recommend their green salsa that they have. It pairs perfectly with any of the dishes. I typically order Enchalada Verdes, but this time I went with the Pineapple Fajitas. It's served in a half a pineapple and is delicious. The presentation of our meals are always top notch.
