I used to love to go to Kohlâs because anytime I went as a card holder. I would receive at minimum 15% off as they usually had a promotion going or I would be able to earn kohls cash or use kohls cash however this last time that I went, they neither had a sale nor could you use or earn Kohlâs cash and it was on purpose because now they only allow you to earn it on particular division such as housewares or clothing and only at certain times- the clothing I felt was the same medium quality and I was paying more for it for example a childâs T-shirt just above Walmart standards was 12.99 when before it may have been 9.99 Plus, I could NOT get overall 15% .I wonât be going there as frequently as I used to as they arenât as good to their customers. I used to hate the way they would try to FORCE their credit card on me every time at check out. Rather aggressively I might add. One of my last trips there a member of management was standing over a cashier making sure that she relentlessly PUSHED that card on me. The girl did her job but she and I were both very uncomfortable. I stopped going there after that day unless my daughter just begged me because the check out experience angered me to the point that I thought I might snap and say something mean to some poor kid making minimum wage and dealing with a jerk manager, and annoyed customers all day. The kiosk for printing are always broken and customer service does not offer any assistance to guest trying to locate it. I have had multiple complaints about the trouble my guest are having- some have even left the store and opted to buy gifts else where out of frustration. In instances where guest do make purchases, only 1 out of their multiple items get marked as purchased. I submitted my complaints in a feedback form and I received a generic response that made it very clear they did not make any efforts to read my feedback.
