If I could give zero stars, I would. We went to the drive thru on a Thursday night between 6:40 and 7:10 pm. Our order was quite simple, (2) meals and an extra drink and fries. The line was slow moving, but it's usually the case during the peak of typical dinner hours, so we didn't really expect speedy or even exceptional service.
#1. Burger Prepared Incorrectly: My son found one single square of lettuce in his "plain" burger. I mean, why? We ordered it plain and dry, which the sticker on his burger wrapper clearly indicated.
#2. Burger Half Hazardly Prepped: My burger had huge chunks of lettuce root that weren't even fully chopped and fell out when I lifted my burger from the unfolded wrapper. I didn't even bother to chop it, so I threw the lettuce away.
#3. Disgusting Fries: My daughter started to eat her fries and realized several were hard and undercooked, yet others were soggy and wilted. The same was true with my husbands fries. They looked transparent and soft with zero crispness whatsoever.
#4. Horrible Customer Service: I called to talk to a manager, Leah, the manager on duty, answered. I described the food we were given and emphasized how it lacked in quality and freshness. She quickly apologized but didn't sound sincere in the slightest and said she would talk to the workers in charge of the fryer and, in record haste, bid me a good day. I paused for a moment as I was really taken back by her lack of empathy or remorse but she just sat on the line in silence, it was obvious she didn't care, so I hung up.
I wasted my hard earned money on cold, crappy disgusting food and another minute and 22 seconds of my life talking to a poor excuse of a manager. Read moreThis has to be one of the worst dining experiences of my life. I ordered online to pickup through the drive-thru. I arrived at 11:55 and the line was pretty long. Usually it moves quickly, so I didn't think anything of it. What I didn't realize is that there was only one manager and one worker working. By the time I realized, it was too late. I was trapped in line for 55 minutes of hell. I spent 15 minutes at the speaker alone before they even asked me if I wanted to order. I misheard the cashier and pulled out to the second lane and waited for my order. I was then told that I had to come inside and pickup my order. So I was pretty furious. I understand that they were short handed and very busy, but it was just a ridiculous experience. I honestly feel bad for snapping at the cashier for wasting my time when I picked up my order inside. I know that it's not her fault. I just finished working an 11 hour shift and I'm exhausted, so the last thing I wanted to do was wait an hour for my food. Somehow my food was cold by the time I received it. So I'm guessing that it was made sometime while I was trapped in the drive thru line. Needless to say, I'll never be eating at this location again. The district manager needs to step things up at this location and make sure that they are fully staffed. The manager offered me a job while I was complaining about waiting so long for my food. Lol The cashier woman seriously needs a raise. No one should have to work in such a terrible situation. The poor woman is a saint for not walking out and quitting. I would highly advise any Whataburger lovers to skip this location and visit the one in Valley Ranch or on Kingwood...
Read moreJust visited location #607 General Manager name is Gabriela Sanchez. My Order number is 246390 @ 6:02:34pm. The first mistake was them not charging me for sliced jalepenos after I specifically asked for them. The second mistake is them not putting my food in a to go bag, which my ticket specifically says "take out" on the receipts. Third, the carbonation for the soda machine is too high, that may be a personal preference, but it seems like they are trying to cut corners to save money. I have consistently had problems with this location. Even had to ask for a refund the last time I visited this location around this time due to waiting over 30 minutes for my order. I also have reqson to believe they tampered with my food due to them going around the corner of the kitchen to "bag" my order which seemed to take more than a couple of minutes. This is becoming a very bad habit, y'all need to tighten up! I have three locations within three miles of where I live so choosing a different location is not...
