My now wife and I decided on a long engagement, 2 years to be precise. There were a lot of things up in the air, life was busy and hectic.

We visited probably 4 or 5 different well-known jewelry shops in that time. As a fairly stereotypical male, the visits to these shops were... Well, for me, boring. None of the salespeople proved to be helpful to myself nor my wife beyond ring sizing. Both of us are generally practical people who value substance over flash, so we had not really considered what kind of styles would fit us.

The difference with Dynamic Designs was Jeanette asked questions and listened to our answers. During what would normally be a simple "getting to know you" conversation, Jeanette was building up the information to approximate styles we might enjoy. Usually, when we said we didn't know what we wanted, the salespeople would say "Well, just look around and let me know."

The Dynamic Designs experience was the total opposite. I explained that I didn't want anything gaudy, but I didn't want anything too boring or typical either. Turns out we're both my wife and myself are fans of the vintage look. Jeanette initially provided me with probably 30-40 options to choose from, with more waiting in the wings if I didn't find anything I liked. This was a far cry from the 5-8 options and a magazine I was given elsewhere, which for my tastes were either too basic or had too much bling. She asked questions about my life and work, and educated me on what materials might be a good fit for my lifestyle. I can be clumsy and forgetful at times so I prefer things to be low maintenance. She recommended Tungsten, as it's a strong metal (read: can survive the garbage disposal, that's the clumsy part) and doesn't require frequent polishing.

I came in with almost no opinion or expectation and left with a new appreciation for jewelry and what I felt like was a style all my own. There wasn't a single moment that I felt pressured to buy or make a decision. I assumed we would make 2 or 3 appointments. We walked out after the first visit completely satisfied and ready for the wedding!

I've never really envisioned myself as a life long customer of any business, but Dynamic Designs is the only place I can imagine going to for jewelry...

Jeanette was absolutely wonderful to work with. I met her at the Seattle Wedding Expo. I have a very unique engagement ring setting which made it difficult to find a band that I could wear with. I also was only specifically looking for lab created sapphires for my band as well. At the expo, I expressed my needs for a wedding band and the importance of lab created sapphires and her as well as her employee were both extremely helpful and reassuring that they would be able to get lab created sapphires for my band. My fiancé and I left the expo and decided that this was definitely the company we were going to get both of our wedding bands from. We set up an appointment and met with Jeanette to talk through ideas we had for my band and also pick out my fiancé’s band. We then met with her to actually create it and set the design. When I went to pick them up, I literally could not believe how beautiful my band turned out. Jeanette was wonderful to work with and also worked well with our budget and dreams of what we wanted. She was very personable and spent time making sure everything was perfect and had the fit and look of what we wanted for our bands. Seeing as I was buying a ring for my now fiancé, I wanted the experience to be tailored and intimate. Not something generic at a big box jeweler.

I wanted the ring to be exactly what my now fiancé had hoped for.

Skyler and Jeanette delivered! From the first time meeting and getting to see/evaluate the diamonds in person, to going back and forth on the engagement ring design they were communicative, involved, and truly seemed to care for me. On top of that I was able to tell them my budget and find a way to work best within that budget to get everything I had hoped for at the price that wasn't going to set me back in anyway.

The other aspect that blew me away was their ability to take my very layman terms/descriptions and steer me in a direction to exactly what I was looking for.

I would recommend them to everyone especially if you want a unique tailored experience.

As a final note, I'll also add I currently live in Charlotte, NC and they were amazing to work with from across the country.
