5.11 — Local services in Kissimmee

I called in from a nearby town looking for a certain item. Justin said it showed in their computer, but he wanted to put his hands on it to be sure it was there before I drove all the way in to get it. He called back a short time later and messaged me that it was there, including all the particulars so I knew he was on the right page. I called back and confirmed, and drove in to buy it. He had the item on his checkout counter, waiting for me, with my name on it. Outstanding!

It was my first time in that particular store, and it was amazing. They have a ton of 5.11 gear there, all perfectly laid out. It makes you want to buy one of everything. :-)

Special Kudos to Justin for how he handles himself. He is all the right stuff: courteous, knowledgeable, caring, prompt, and accurate. I wish all retail personnel were like him... it would change the retail landscape. Thank you, Justin, for being excellent at what you do. I will refer all my local friends to your store location if they need...

This review only rating my experience at the store, so do to my job I can only have certain products from certain vendors. 5.11 and. First tactical being one of them. I didn’t like first tactical duty belt, so I decided to check out 5.11 and I found a duty belt I fell in love with the maverick battle belt $108 one the B.O.P vendor website. As I get to the store I go check out the duty belt and it’s $180, I ask do you guys match your vendor site with the B.O.P and the guy said no we don’t do that, that’s a corporate thing! Last time I check 5.11 is still 5.11 and you won’t give me my price! Come on. This store would rather lose a sale than to honor 5.11 price for my agency! We all know you guys aren’t paying nearly that price when you order your inventory. All I can say...

I normally do not leave reviews, but this just happened. I was in this store, trying to find new set of boots (I’m not big fan of 5.11 boots, but I was willing to give them one more chance). My wife was in the torrid next door, and I have our 2 year old with me, and happened, I have to change her diaper. My wife brings me my daughter diaper bag, and I told her I’ll use 5.11 bathroom to change her. After I received the bag, I went to the lady in the register, I asked her if I can use their bathroom, she silent for a moment and told me their bathroom is out of order. SURE! How convenient. It’s raining like crazy, that’s why I didn’t go back to the car to change her. Their customer service is as bad as their boots. WILL NO BUY...
