There's a reason why Taco Bell shouldn't be a chicken place. I can't speak for all taco bells, because I've only had their crispy chicken products from this one. But don't do it, this taco bell consistently overcooks their crispy chicken. When their nuggets came out, I tried them from here, and they were overcooked. Yesterday, I got an online offer to try that new crispy chicken burrito for $2.40. So I figured for over half off, I'll give em another chance. Guess what happened when I took my first bite into the burrito. Yep, it was overcooked and dry. I was still there, so I went in and let them know. They obviously couldn't refund me right there since it was an online order, understandable. So they offered to remake it. I declined the same item and told them that I would just take a chicken enchorito since that's about the price I paid. But not before the manager Velma tried to tell me that the chicken wasn't overcooked even after showing her what it looked like and that I was crazy for thinking that chicken wasn't perfect. Taco Bell is not a chicken place, and if the rest of them cook their chicken like this one, they should just leave chicken to KFC. I included a picture of a piece of one of the tenders. Just by looking at it, you can't tell me that it's not overcooked. For what it's worth, this location does make their...
Read moreService was extremely slow. This was late night and there were a number of delivery drivers waiting for their orders. I had placed my order online, arrived 5 minutes later, and had to wait almost a full hour before I left with my food. When I spoke to the shift manager she basically looked at me and shrugged her shoulders. The problem is, they weren't that busy. In fact, they released one employee after spending the better part of 15 minutes closing one of two lines in the kitchen. I understand you need to get ahead of the curve in food service but when you have the volume of business at that time of night that they clearly had, there's no excuse for shutting down capacity and releasing employees. There's also no excuse for ignoring multiple customer inquiries, including several by the delivery drivers who were frustrated that they'd waites so long to get their orders that they were starting to get cancellations from their customers and of course would lose the delivery fee and potential tip income. This place needs a top to bottom overhaul because the current staff does not seem motivated to excel. This is not the first time I've had this experience at this particular store. If this is a franchise store, Taco Bell management needs to take a hard look at how this lackluster operation is affecting...
Read moreI was pre-grocery run starving (you know how it goes) and desperate for food, but I’m dairy free. I decided to stop here anyway as it was right next to the grocery store and again, I was desperate, and ordered the cantina chicken burrito with no cheese.
I asked the employee if there was dairy in the chipotle sauce, and not only did she let me know there was, but she also notified me of all the other ingredients that included dairy in the burrito (even the guacamole!!) and offered to take those out as well. She was SO kind and helpful.
To top it off, instead of receiving a tiny burrito that was mostly tortilla, my burrito was filled with tons of chicken and veggies. It was fresh, filling, and delicious!
It’s pretty shocking how much restaurants & fast food rely on dairy in their ingredients, and the annoyance I typically receive from employees when asking to leave it out when possible, but this woman was incredibly nice, her customer service was amazing, and my food was so satisfying.
I rarely go to Taco Bell, but I will be going back to this...
