Clayton's Furniture — Local services in Knoxville

My wife and I were considering buying a Flexsteel double recliner but had no immediate plans to purchase at this time. We stopped by Clayton's Furniture on a walk to downtown and were Immediately greeted by Greg. Long story short, he showed us a double recliner that was exactly what we were considering and we bought it on the spot. Greg was unbelievable and made us a fantastic deal with delivery included the very next day along with removal of the couch in our rental house and delivery to another location designated by our landlady. We didn't know that customer service like that existed anywhere anymore! Believe all the great reviews here because Clayton's is just that good. Absolutely the very best furniture store in the entire Knoxville and East Tennessee area. Thanks Greg, two more customers for life! Also, a plug for Flexsteel - the Flexsteel double recliner is just as comfortable as we expected (we had Flexsteel recliners in our Foretravel motorhome where we lived full-time for the first 8 years after we retired so we knew the quality before...

As a 22 year old single girl it can be very intimidating going furniture shopping. As soon as I walked in I felt welcomed and safe. They listened to me and cared about what I wanted. The price was very reasonable AND the free delivery is very much appreciated. The delivery experience was also AMAZING. The gentlemen were so positive and professional. They were so quick while still paying attention to detail. They also listened to exactly where I wanted it and made sure it was what I wanted before they left. Ignorant salesman. We were in search of a electrical reclining sofa, of which the store has NONE. The salesman proceeded to jump up and down on a white sofa with his shoes on in attempt to discuss the quality of frames...clearly not what we were inquiring about. He sent us to the back of his store to look at his "lesser quality" furniture. Again. He didn't have what we were searching for. As we left the store he stated out loud for us to go look at biglots.
