This review is for 1523 S. Reed Rd location in Kokomo, IN - Very disappointing. Placed online order for mother’s day lunch. Received notification the order would be late..which is understandable since it is such a busy day. Arrived at location and walked in to pickup order. Person said the order was canceled. Showed him the order on our phone and he flipped his screen to show us it was canceled on his side. No reason and no explanation. Then he said dining was closed. We had to get in the drive thru line if we needed to order food. The line was several cars long but we had no choice at this point. Waited over 30 minutes in drive through to place and get the order. Contacted customer service while we waited in line. The agent couldn’t explain why the order canceled and could not provide any compensation. She said she would notify leaders who may contact us later. Chicken was cold, dry and sides had smaller portions in containers. Extremely disappointed the app or some notification wasn’t sent to notify us KFC canceled the order. We would have made other plans. If it notified us of the order being late, why couldn’t it tell is it was canceled?!? We are very disappointed the person at the location wasn’t empowered to provide our order WITHOUT forcing us to sit in a long line causing us to be late. Clearly he saw we had an order that no longer existed. It seems the easiest thing to do would be take the order again and give us the food. We are also disappointed the customer service analyst isn’t empowered to provide some sort of compensation to unhappy customers. Everyone seems very limited in their abilities to do the right thing. Read moreI have eaten at this KFC before and it wasn't nearly as bad as today. The floors were extremely sticky and the service was very slow. The men's room was absolutely DISGUSTING! The floors were so slick that it was hard to stand without your feet starting to slide apart! The entire bathroom could do with a complete makeover. My wife said that the women's room was out of toilet paper.
Besides all of that, the buffet needs to be checked out because the food was lukewarm at best. It wasn't too messy, though, and, except for one broken serving spoon, was in generally good shape. The refill time wasn't very good. The original chicken was refilled once but the crispy chicken was not refilled before we left. Me and my friend only got one piece of the crispy chicken each (which were the last two pieces available). There were at least 4-5 other tables of customers eating off of the buffet when we arrived so it definitely should have been better cared for.
My mom and wife ordered menu items and the quality of the product was good, although it was almost 10 minutes before they got their food.

To be fair I gave them 3 stars because I was not interested in eating at this restaurant to begin with, but they had some other factors that should caused them to get a lower score. We are there and all the tables and booths were dirty. I am not overreacting either. I had to wipe the table off myself and then go wash my hands. Then I noticed something on the seat when I got back to sit down. Got my food and then noticed that there was a long black hair (I'm a blonde) wrapped around the biscuit. Decided I wasn't going to complain or saying anything to the people I was with. Just threw the thing away. Asked for a butter for my friend. They tried to give me one from one of the tables. I declined the butter, and told my friend to just eat their biscuit (I looked at it to make sure there was no hair, but didn't want to make them think anything was up). I didn't eat much of my meal mainly because the hair was stuck in my mind and I'm a weirdo about those things. So it maybe they had a rough day and I just had the misfortune of coming in on that day.
