Family Dollar — Local services in Kuna

Typically we find the staff to be very friendly and helpful but today Sun Mar 3 about 3 or 4 pm -was a definite exception. Having just drove in from a long trip from Salt Lake City and dealing with a painful knee problem I was highly unsatisfied while having to stand in the only open line waiting while the cashier chit chatted with another employee who was being checked out (she was shopping but still in her work uniform). Then we had to wait while the customer sent her companion back to grab additional items. I made the remark to my husband that the line at Wal Mart (where we had been just prior) was quicker than this but they were too busy chewing the fat to notice but seemed more apparent to us that they did not really care when the cashier urged them to send said companion back to grab another product. We were so frustrated at that point that my husband said lets go as this is really rude-so we set our goods down and walked out. Adding insult to injury the employee that was shopping yelled out to us " Couldn't you be patient just a little longer? I am shopping as a customer right now!" (can you believe that?) Stood at the checkout stand without being acknowledged even after ringing the bell. When the girl working finally made an appearance she did not say one single word to us, no apology, no thanks for coming in, nothing. Just a nasty attitude all over her face and body language. This store actively sends employees to work sick with COVID and this store specifically is full of food and health hazards. Every time I walk in there I see cockroaches and other insects.
