Old Fashioned Fruit and Veg — Local services in Kuna

Disappointed in the choices and whoever the current owner is running a produce stand with practically no local farm produce and non local products (except dairy & meat). The fruit and veggies there all have the same produce company stickers on them that you can find at Albertsons, Ridley’s, Walmart, Fred Meyers and Winco. And not even organic. There were local dairy products, local beef cuts but Very expensive.

Food selection looked wonderful upon entry but then quickly realized that more than 30-40% of their selection wasn’t local. We bought a tomato plant because of the type not because I was confident it was local… I was hoping for Oregon and Washington berries, maybe Oregon greenhouse crops, etc. But no. The avocados weren’t even from the US and they are twice as much as Ridley’s down the street :-/ Still bought stuff because I didn’t want to spend more money and waste time going to winco for cheaper prices on the same selection but was really...

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to visit the Kuna location for the first time. There was lots of great produce. I bought quite a bit myself. This is the perfect weekend to stop by and visit this produce stand. While there, you can also take some cute pictures of your kids in front of the pumpkins.

*The last day they are open in 2023 is October 31.
