Arctic Circle — Restaurant in Kuna

First, let me begin by saying that their ice cream products are very good. This is a well kept establishment run by nice folks. So why 1 star? I believe if you’re going to offer a product it should be commensurate in quality to the other products you offer. Since only their drive through is open during the pandemic, there was quite a long line on the Sunday we visited for a lunch meal. We ordered two lemon pepper chicken sandwich combos and after about 20 min we’re on our way. When we began eating the sandwiches, the first thing I noticed was the pink center in the undercooked chicken breast. Second, the bite I had tasted like it had been soaked for a week in a lemon flavored chemical bath of some sort, and could almost not distinguish the flavor of chicken over the overpowering lemon-like brine. 3rd, the lettuce was brown and dry, 4th, the bun smelled and tasted like sawdust. The entire sandwich was inedible and we threw both of them away. Had I been in the restaurant I’d have returned the meals and asked for a refund but with COVID restrictions, returning them meant waiting in line another half hour. First time trying Artic Circle, let's start with the option they offer. They have originals like steak fries (our favorite), gyros that was delicious but needed more sauce, we also tried the chicken rings, very original and we'r didn't order but they have halibut also. Additionally we ordeed a plain cheeseburger for our doggy. The service was fantastic, at the window they realized we had a very enthusiastic dog in the car (he was loving the delicious smells coming from the place) so they asked if they could give him a treat and gave us for free a tiny icecream come with soft vanilla icecream. That made his day, he was adorable enjoying his mini icecream. Also when they realized the plain burger was for him they told us next time we can ask for a "puppy paty" and they can prepare just the burger without bun for doggies. Is good to know. The food was good, the fry sauce is delicious and our favorite so far is the steak fries, they are well seasoned and not too much breading. The fries are ok. I really really want to leave an excellent excellent review and everything was mostly excellent so let's start with that..

All the food looked extremely appetizing, The buns were perfect tomatoes were nice and perky and it was all very good except.

My quarter pounder burger was great in every respect except the meat I could not get past the idea that it tasted like store-bought multi-pack meat patties.

And the taco salad in the picture was perfect except it could add beans and the shell was stale it bent instead of snapped trying to eat it and it was a bit gummy.

But boy the pastrami sandwich was out of the park it was delicious in every way would totally have that again.

This is a nice local spot to eat, the bun and meat could use a little uptick but still not a bad stop for the family.

Prices of reasonable nice clean atmosphere.
