by far the worst place I ever been too
first, I walked in with my brother and uncle and didn't get the "hi, welcome or let me know if you guys need any help". All we got was, nice to see you guys here, I felt so disgusted and so discriminated cause three black men walked into the store looking to buy a nice suit for Christmas church, so just cause we weren't wearing a suit doesn't mean you can treat us like we were criminal or we weren't meant to be there.
second, we found what we wanted and were the second one in the line, so when the cashier male finishes with the first customer. he walked away without even letting us know that "he will come back or sir, I will be right with you", just left us there with a puzzling face, like what's going on, are we going to get services so we can leave? so rude.
Third, one young lady came by us and said "do you guys need any help". duh. we in front of the cashier line. do I have to draw wrong attention so you guys can help us. so, we said yes, the guy that as here walked away without even saying anything. then she said ok, without apologizing on behalf of her follow rude employer and coworker.
Fourth: as the young cashier lady was helping help us with the checking out merchandise, another middle age man walk up to her telling her that if she knows how to bolt a bowtie. like, what the hell, can't you see she is helping a customer. how rude and he tried to flirt with her when the young cashier lady said I don't know I thought you know and h reply her by saying "I don't know how to bolt a bowtie and I shouldn't have to cause I'm the manger. the boss". so in my head, I was like no wonder why you got bad and rude worker working for you cause they get it from you. so before we walked out, I overheard, the manager guy who couldn't bolt a bowtie saying those Asian people we mad. he called them Asian people, how rude. of course, I will be mad if I was in a store were they sell men's suits and all the worker can't even tie a tie or a bowtie. so he laugh about and walked away. so rude.
I'm a black African American male, all I wanted was a Christmas suit for Christmas party and church and I never felt so disrespected and discriminated like that. in their mind, they were like what black people doing here. like I don't work, I'm a manager at restaurant supplies. we sell over 10miles of product every month so you can tell how big is...

I made an appointment for 1pm today (January 20th) for measurements and fitting for myself and my best man. I spoke with a sales rep, who greeted me when I walked in at 12:53pm and that I have a 1pm appointment, which he acknowledged. We walked around the store, which does have a nice selection of dress shirts, sports coats, suits, and ties, until it's time for the appointment.
1pm - no associates assist us
1:03pm - an associate walks by and asks if we've been helped yet. We let them know that we have a 1pm appointment. At this point, they went to assist another customer
1:05pm - a separate associate asks us if we've been helped yet, and they do the same thing...leaving us behind.
1:08pm - a third associate asks us if we've been helped and we say "No, we haven't been helped yet for our 1pm appointment." She sighs and reluctantly helps us. She asked my name, which I provided and said that I do not have an appointment today. I have an email verifying the date, time, and location at this Mens Wearhouse; additionally, I received a phone call yesterday (1/19) confirming my appointment for January 20th.
This associate doubles down and said that I did not have an appointment at all. Unfortunately, the email verification says otherwise.
If you want to dress sharply for a special event or just in general, do not come to this location (unless you want to be treated poorly). You are better off going to Macy's, right across the street, getting a suit off the rack, and then...
Read moreOnly giving an extra star because May provided great customer service under the circumstances. She was already assisting 4 other people. There were 4 groups of people in the shop area waiting to be serviced. My fiance and I were waiting over 15 min (we came in to pick up the tux he had purchased and had altered, our event was in 5 days) and only got service because I flagged May down. No one greeted us when we walked in. No one seemed at all pleased that we were there, and probably because they were overcrowded and overworked. Clearly short staffed. Feel bad for staff because it is really management's fault for the horrible service and experience we had. It is disappointing because it is an experience preceeding a very special event and it should feel exciting and special. But this store, this experience taints that. They are in the event industry and should ensure they create and provide an atmosphere that is welcoming and warm. It is impossible to do this when a store does not hire an adequate amount of staff. Shout out to May who was hustling and bustling, serving 4 different groups while her coworkers handled 1 group at a time. As we left the group waiting to be served had doubled. This place will not make it if it doesn't fix the...
