O'Reilly Auto Parts — Local services in La Mesa

On my visit to O'Reilly's this day was okay until I found out that my O2 sensor was going to be over $100 for one and I need two of them. I know that they have overhead and all so I can understand why such high price markups. I was going to give three stars because I saw on a review that they gave somebody the wrong O2 sensor for their vehicle which set the customer back some money. So that's why I docked another star. But then on another review I saw that they will price match at some locations. I brought back another star for this reason. When I go in and ask next time, if they will honor that price match and they do, I will gladly give them five stars. Normally their customer service is great but if they're giving customers the wrong information about their vehicle or selling them the wrong part they are gonna get docked some stars. These guys are supposed to be trained auto parts professional salesmen. You know...

This place offers great warranties on parts. I went in to replace wiper blades on front windshield and the rep found the part and went outside to teach me how to replace. They offered me a warranty for replacement parts. I returned at a later date to buy new headlamp bulbs and again the rep found the bulbs and replaced them for me! Went in to buy some OIL EATER, they do not put out in the store but keep it IN the back where you have to ask for it. It is the best product around for cleaning oil and grease from pretty much anything. Apparently they no longer carry in stock, bumber for me as the sales person did say that they can order and have tomorrow but living out in Jamul is just too far to drive to get one product.
