It has been a long time since I wrote this review. We have been through a pandemic and all the trauma that brought to health care, and my opinion of the facility has only grown higher. It is still an outstanding operation. As we know this area has a high number of elderly residents, and this is a place that understands that population.
During the pandemic the staff generally keep their services sharp and available. Yes there were delays and it was a little harder to get an appointment, but everyone kept going and working and they were heros that were there for us. I know some of our neighbors had difficulty getting appointments or COVID treatment at other providers. Thank You Eisenhower for all you did. This is a state of the art medical center offering a range of services to the East end of the Coachella Valley. It is much smaller that the sprawling Eisenhower campus in Rancho Mirage and often refers patients to there but basic services are available in this modern facility. Doctors, labs, basic imaging, woman’s health and physical rehab are all provided.
Parking is convenient and covered spaces are often available a real bonus on the summer. The staff it’s extremely accommodating, and there is even a small snack bar with Starbucks and sandwiches of good quality.
There are doctors available under Eisenhower’s 360 program that includes email communication with the doctors. Their online system is very good and reminders and appointments are easily available online.
The building is clean and comfortable with a receptionist on duty as you walk in always offering help. They even have an urgent...
Read moreThis family health center does not care one bit about your health. All they want is to find a way charge you and your insurance company more money. Took family in for once a year physical/check up. Been an existing patient here for 5 years. Have seen 4 different DR's and they are a training ground for med students. Made the mistake of answering DR Fazli's questions during my physical and they in turn decided to count these answers as a diagnostic and I was forced to pay out of pocket expenses that were not covered under Ins Policy's once a year physical/check up. Talked to billing regarding a little bit of confusion, the person I spoke to was absolutely rude. Said it was a new DR and that because it was our first time seeing that DR, it counted as a new DR visit and they said the billing was correct. So, apparently it's Patients fault that they have a revolving door of student DR's. I guess DR's at this office don't have access to my in-house records. 3 different DR's in 3 years. Will never step foot in this place again. Heard "The Roggin Report" mention something on the evening news about this place as well. Here's my recommendation, find a DR at a private practice. One that will be there next year when you go back. Having to see a new face every year only for them to charge you money is a absurd. Shameful DR office this is. They do not care about your health. If I could give it zero stars, I would. 5 members in my family all used to go here, none of us will be back. Sounds like a good business...
Read moreI’ve been a patient here for the four years I’ve been living in the CV. The healthcare here gets worse every time I visit. On my last visit, the resident doctor said he didn’t understand thyroid issues so he couldn’t refill my meds but will refer me to an endocrinologist. Then he said he couldn’t refill my medication for arthritis because he didn’t understand arthritis either so he referred me to a rheumatologist who can’t see me until the day before Christmas. I’m sure when the date nears, they’ll cancel. I’ve had that happen many times with their supposed specialists. . He said he is specializing in sports medicine. If that’s so, why was he assigned to a 68-year old woman? Absolutely pathetic! It was a waste of my time and now I need to get into another primary care physician so they can refill meds I’ve been taking for 20 years. BTW, it was Dr. Rochin. He also lied on the notes from my visit. I am not overweight and have a BMI of between 23 and 24, but his notes say he spoke to me about losing weight to help with cholesterol. He also said that I have a sedentary lifestyle which is also untrue. I told him that I work out every day, walk a few miles and spend a lot of time gardening, etc. I wouldn’t recommend this man unless you want to have hereditary issues falsely blamed...
