This cricket establishment is extremely unprofessional. We decided to switch from AT&T to cricket a few months back and while doing so we were offered a promotion for one of the newer iPhones. The promotion offered a significant discount of $299 for a $629 phone. We weren’t planning on upgrading that day but after hearing that how can one refuse that offer?? The funny part about all this is we came in that day talking about how awful AT&T was and we were excited to switch so the associate was very aware we were previous AT&T customers. The purchase was made for all the switching fees and the new phone and by the time the card was swiped she said out loud the price was around $900. Neither of us caught it at the time until we looked at our receipt and realized it overcharged us but $300. The associate who dealt with our transaction also offered to pay us herself out of her own pocket and said that she would be fired after doing so. Long story short after months of trying to get this establishment to work with us on a refund , they have refused to help at all and the owner of this location, Danny Rodriguez ,said quote “well they payed for it , there’s nothing I can do”. The receipt showed she set up a payment extension instead of paying my bill which means i will now have to pay $25 MORE because of HER mistake. I was nice, told her no I didn’t want a payment extension instead wanted to pay the entire bill? She called manager and they went back and forth and eventually tried to tell me sorry you’ll have to pay the $25 I said “ im not paying that for your mistake, you need to fix it or make it right” after sitting around and nothing getting solved I had to leave for an appointment. I counted it up and AT&T overcharged me over $500 over last two years due to their multiple call centers never able to get anything right. Regardless, the manager at the LV store, Jennifer, is great to work with and she ported all my phones to Cricket so I got to keep my current phone #s. I’m now paying $99/month instead of $267.
