Whataburger — Restaurant in La Vernia

Drive-thru Service is trash. The servers who work there are not all, but most have their head somewhere else. Burgers are not hot but warm like they've been sitting. Fries are old, warm, and not even golden anymore because it's old oil. The server gave my family and I someone else's order, and went back in to see what was taking ours so long. We had already waited over 20 min, so as a courtesy, my family and I pulled up so the person behind us in the drive-through can leave, and guess what? The server who went back to check on our order forgot about us and assumed we left without checking first. My husband had to go inside and had a talk with the manager, who honestly didn't care. When we got our food finally, it was warm and fries were cold. Spending over 30 dollars to get this trash, I'm not happy at all, but what are you going to do? They have been going downhill for a while now. Hopefully, something better...

Whataburger used to be king when it came to fast food burgers. Unfortunately, ever since that Chicago corporation bought them out, the quality has dropped significantly. Still better than McDonalds, and like every other burger in existence, better than Burger King, but now maybe on par (if not slightly less tasty) with Wendy's if I'm going to be completely honest. The staff is always incredible at the La Vernia location, and they usually get the orders correct. A small handful of times they have a small hiccup or a small piece of the order is missing, and they rush to correct it right away. I wish the staff could be rated with 6 stars. The atmosphere is a basic Whataburger atmosphere, but they keep it clean. The one thing I cannot get enough of there is their shakes and malts. My daughter and I wanted to have dinner here last evening as we have enjoyed their meals for years. However, we had the worst meals ever! We ordered NO ONIONS on our orders. To our dismay onions were loaded on our orders that were delivered, dripping with too much sauce which made the sandwich soggy and the meat was very not warm, certainly had been cooked and sitting for quite a while. Fries were cold as well. We have never had a meal served to us at this location at this location. and we have enjoyed many meals here for years. Fries were replaced with an order again of slightly warmed up fries, not fresh. At 2am this meal left my body. Not sure how it was prepared or what was in it but became toxic and thankfully left me body. Hard to believe we received these meals in...
