I started a car detailing company and have been here a lot lately. I never write a review about a company but I don’t even know where to begin at I feel everyone in this town needs to know about this store. The store is not all bad but it’s bad. The store manager Steve is very rude and grumpy all the time but you hardly see him there I don’t know if he just hides in the back or what but if you do see him he’s playing on his phone while customers are standing in line than acts like he didn’t see you standing in line or he’s outside smoking. Then there is a guy named Steven he’s a little creepy to me he thinks he’s a ladies man and it’s sickening and also kind of scary. He just rings stuff up when he’s checking you out that I didn’t ask to buy and that he didn’t ask if I wanted to buy told him one time I don’t want that he told me that’s ok I will give you a discount if you buy it. I don’t come in here to be charged for stuff I’m not asked first if I wanted to buy it makes me feel like I’m being ripped off and then he acts like it’s nothing just oh let me give you a discount, here is something for $3 but I’m going to give you $20 off your losing money people open your eyes. Make sure you look at your receipts before you leave the store!!!! They have a young kid working there now and he’s great very nice and polite. You also have some other great employees that work there those are the ones that always greats me when I come in always asking if I need any help they always suggest products I wouldn’t have thought about using before. There is also a young lady that works there she is very nice and helpful goes out of her way to help you out to your vehicle but don’t see her that much when I’m there wish she worked more than she does. Your company really needs to rethink who you have employed to work there you get Steve and Steven out of this store it would be 100% better in my opinion. Word around this small town most people can’t stand going in here cause of those two everyone says they are very rude and they don’t understand why they work there put them in the warehouse or something away from customers you specially need to keep Steven away from the female customers that shop here before you have a lawsuit against the company not saying it will be from me but I see it happening before long!!! Gave a two star mainly cause of Steve and Steven wish I could give a five star for the other employees they...
Read moreAutozone used to be my go-to parts store. Sadly, it's been my experience that this one doesn't live up to the reputation I had grown accustomed to. The employees aren't very friendly or outgoing. They could use refreshers in customer service. The selection has really slipped as well. Perhaps because cars are harder to work on for the DIYer or perhaps they just lost touch with their customer. I can't really answer that. I do know that just a few years ago I could go into an Autozone in another location and be greeted, asked if I need help, walked to the area I need and usually they could grab just what I was looking for. They tried to get to know customers, especially repeat customers. They almost always had the parts in stock for 60s-era SBC 350. They had the knowledge to help me find solutions to repairs I perhaps hadn't thought of. This Autozone just disappoints to the point that O'Reilly has become my go-to. The best part about them here in La Vernia is a...
Read moreJust went here today and maybe it’s store policy or something, but it doesn’t feel great to have a phone call prioritized over you while waiting in line. When I walked in and got in line, both attendants were in the back (seemingly helping the person in front of me) and the phone rang as they returned and saw me next in line. I waited a few more minutes as they answered the phone, but one of them had to go to the back again to check stock for the phone customer, and then another phone started ringing as a bigger line began to form behind me. I saved them the trouble and just left. I know I was kind of being impatient because I had groceries melting in the car, but there just didn’t seem to be any hustle or work ethic and it’s hard to be a part of that, especially when there are other options two...
