H-E-B — Local services in La Vernia

Woke up early this morning at 6 to shop before the store got packed with people I walk in and there's next to no fruit on the shelves the fruit that was out was blocked by boxes because they were still stocking at almost 7am every other HEB I shop at stocks everything overnight so employees aren't blocking everything and there's actually products stocked to choose from on top of that the employees were blocking aisles with there giant carts shopping for online orders I'm sick and tired of not being able to get to things i need because they're being blocked by employees shopping for people that are too lazy to shop for themselves and almost all the fruit and vegetables had fruit flies covering them they had a sale on the vine ripe tomatoes and I was able to find 3 tomatoes that were edible out of about 50 tomatoes all the rest were rotten if you grabbed them your fingers would go through the tomatoes and then when i get to the register to checkout I get an attitude from the young man checking me out this store is managed horribly nobody to bag at first all the while 2 managers are just standing around staring off into space doing absolutely nothing I'm going to start taking my business to the HEB in Universal City or the HEB on Goliad road their produce is always great quality they're fully stocked and they have almost all the check-outs opened Lavernia HEB is turning into Walmart I absolutely can't stand this HEB if I had the option to rate them with 0 stars that's what I would give them the founder of HEB back in the day was amazing his legacy is being destroyed what he built no longer exists all they see is dollar signs prices are through the roof and the quality of the products are low HEB is worth 18 BILLION Dollars they can afford to sell quality products but they choose to pocket that extra cash they save by taking advantage of their...

We've used 3 different pharmacies over the past 4 years for the same medications and never had to pay for any of them. This pharmacy requires us to pay $120 for one of them. How does that happen when the only change made was the pharmacy? We have the same insurance and coverage as we've always had and when I talk to the insurance they say it's covered. Not to mention that the VA sent a script here and what I was given had my name wrong and it was wrong medication. Then they said I had to pay for it. I turned it down and went to Audie Murphy VA and picked up the correct medication for free. I think I'm better off driving 45 minutes one way to the north side of San Antonio and paying nothing without any issues from my old pharmacy. Like every bad review the company posts that they're concerned and would like to resolve the issue but if they did their job to begin with they wouldn't be playing cleanup. Given the lack of options for local grocery stores...can you really rate this one? The employees are awesome...occasionally you can't find the product you want...these days that is more about the logistics than anything. Pre-Covid we did ask on a couple occasions to stock certain things, and though they said yes...they never did. So, they may say sure, but don't expect it. They have everything someone needs and the employees are helpful. My wife and aren't too pleased with the plus sizing happening, but hope it results in a larger selection. We moved to small town TX for a reason. I am really not happy to see 30.06 and 30.07 posted. Really HEB? TX goes Constitutional Carry and HEB goes against 2A...never did I expect that from a TX born, TX based, company. If I had other options in town (or close), I'd take my business elsewhere.
