Heavenly Donuts — Restaurant in Lacey

I’ve ordered here twice—the first time was in person and the selection was good, service was good, donuts were tasty. The second time, I ordered Uber Eats. They don’t allow you to select which donuts you want in a dozen, they provide you with an assortment. I paid for four add-ons and only received two, which they substituted two of my other donuts for, so that’s 4 missing donuts total (12 + 4 add-ons = 16 total). On top of that, their “assortment” was a variety of chocolate icing + sprinkles. On ALL of them except ONE. That’s absolutely ridiculous—chocolate + sprinkles is our least favorite, and it seems like they just gave us a bunch of the undesirables.

To add insult to injury, we never received the $6 drink we ordered. Whether that was the driver or the store, I’m unsure. And to make things even worse, when we reported all the missing donuts and drink (to the tune of ~$12) we were only refunded $3. We hardly ever report issues with Uber Eats, so that’s was frustrating given that well maybe eat 3 of the 12 donuts we received.

Highly disappointed—either make the item selection in Uber Eats better, explain that an “add-on” is just an up charge to substitute a “fancy” donut, refund drinks or don’t offer them/make sure the driver gets them, or don’t be...

I love Heavenly Donuts It’d be nice if they would have more varieties.

Half and half review... maybe I caught them on a bad morning and the person who normally comes in didn't or something so what I got were actually the night befores donuts (since they are 24 hours, which is AWESOME -points for that, instead of a fresh morning batch, idk) because the donuts I got were quite stiff, a bit chewy and I actually didn't get more than one or two bites into any of them before I called it quits...BUTTT the 4 stars comes from them having hands down THE best cheese danishes I have ever had (aside from the ones we get for breakfast at our Disneyland CA resort lol) Sooo soft and the ratio of pastry to cheese is perfect!! Also, I typically dive further to twister and pass heavenly simply for (well.. their donuts lol) but their creme puffies.. however tonight as my husband sent me out at 11 for danishes, they had a HUGE pile of fresh puffies out that I didn't even know they carried (mustve been out when I'd ever been in previously) and the lady gave me a few to try and I about fell on the floor they were so good!
