Went to buy deer corn and people inside store were no help and rude! Asked to have corn loaded in my truck. Three young men were out side trying to load a number of cattle panels on a trailer which they had the customer park right behind my truck and I couldn't even get my wheel chair bound wife into my truck or my two year old grandson as it was very hot outside. This wouldn't have taken very long but the kid operating the forklift was an idiot and dropped the panels on the trailer and they all had to be removed and restocked by hand. This kid doesnt need to be operating a radio flyer wagon much less a forklift. Then the customer buying the panels asked one of the kids to help him tie them down with a ratchet strap and this kid had no idea how to do this. Then all three walked off. I helped the gentleman as he only had one good hand and he did not have good use of it. Then they started to load my corn into my truck and instead of stacking it neatly they just threw it in there and broke a sack. I said I don't want that sack and they thought I was kidding. I made them replace that sack and get up on my truck and restock the bags properly. Finally I backed out of my handicap parking place to leave but before I could pull forward these same idiot kids had another customer pull in front of me to load product and I couldn't go forward or backwards. These kids do NOT need to be working at a job like this. They need to be trained on how to be polite and how to operate machinery and load and help the customers. This all happened at the Bellmead Tx store this past weekend. Beware of your safety if you shop at...
Read moreThis is for Atwood’s at Temple TX. I have been there since they opened. I used to travel to Waco to buy and I loved that store and the customer service. The Temple store is missing the mark in customer service. Every week for several months I go to the same assistant and ask for the same item. I spend several minutes helping her find the item. I am 60 years old and I have it memorized yet she never can find it. I go to the barn for pick up and it’s always closed and have to wait about 15 minutes for some attitude filled employee to tell me what to do. I usually ignore there lazy requests to back right to the pile and get it my self. I am going back to Waco. That’s a 30 mins drive rather than continue to deal with inept staff at the Temple location. Convenience is not worth dealing with the untrained and obviously unsupervised staff at the store. I asked to speak to the manager and was completely ignored. Otherwise this post would not have been necessary. Such a good store should be more diligent on how they handle their customer service. This store management...
