It is so sad that this Texas Famous company's brand recognition is being tarnished by sub par customer service, food made wrong and not fresh. My son and I pulled through the drive thru and order a double meat whataburger with cheese, sub mayo and no onions and a spicy chicken sandwich and large fry, simple order right, you'd think so. Once we pulled up at the first window to pay the heavy set lady at the window didn't want to allow me to pull all the way up, due to a truck in front of me, no instead she opens the window and asks for payment the she doesn't even want to lean out the widow to take my money nope she instead has me stretching as far as I can out MY window to help her do her job. She had a unwelcoming demeanor and couldn't even greet me with a polite hello or thank you. Then when we finally pulled up to the second window to recieve our food after about 17 minutes we were told that they were waiting on "fresh" chicken and we were told not asked to pull all the way up and our order would be brought out. After a short wait of about 4 minutes a guy who I assume was a manager or shift lead due to his blue button up shirt, came up to our car and apologized for the wait while handing us our food. I checked the bags as most have become accustomed to do and sure enough there was no ketchup or napkins so no big deal I went into the restaurant and approached the counter where the same guy asked if I needed something and I replied politely "I wasn't aware that I had to remind anyone that I asked for spicy ketchup and napkins?" Which btw most other restaurants customarily include this in each order but I guess not in Bellmead, Tx. I had a feeling that I may want to check the food but I assumed that given the time our order took and seeing that the restaurant lobby and drive-thru was not heavily busy at all, that our orderly surely was made right I mean after all this was whataburger right, wrong! My son and I got home which is literally not even 3 mins. from the the Bellmead location. Upon sitting down to enjoy our meals, to our amazement the spicy chicken sandwich was missing ingredients and did not taste like it was fresh at all as the restaurant team member claimed was cause for the delay. The fries were also noticeably old and soggy definitely not hot and fresh and crispy and of course they put ingredients that was requested not to be put on the double meat and cheese whataburger namely onions were on the sandwich which changes the taste of a sandwich even pulled off it also had mustard, mayo and ketchup when only ketchup was requested. $20.21 for an experience like that is just unacceptable and only serves to diminish the famous brand's reputation for exceptional service and quality.

Read moreOrder 142765998: Placed my order on the app about 15+ min before my arrival. Arrived there after my order was set to be ready according to the app. There was no clear place for mobile pickup orders. It was about 4:30pm on a Saturday, there was one cashier and LOTS of other staff just standing around. I was never acknowledged standing at the counter. I finally got someone's attention and asked if I needed to stand in line just to pick up a mobile order, there were about 3 families in line. She asked for my name and said she would check on my order, she went to the back and disappeared, never saw her again. In the meantime, I was hoping the women's bathroom would open up as the cleaning sign was up blocking it from the time I walked in. I do appreciate a clean bathroom, but as a traveler stopping in and needing to use the facilities, I'm guessing it was 15 min before she was finished cleaning. It was so urgent that I even peaked my head in and asked if I could come in, but she told me "no". Finally I walked over to where the drink station is and through the window I could see a girl with a headset just standing by the tea maker in the back. I asked for her help and she checked on my order and said they were still waiting on fries and proceeded to walk off. I stopped her and asked if they were making my drinks or if I was expected to get them myself (efficiency was majorly lacking here). She informed me that they don't even know what kind of drinks I ordered, even though the app gave me the option to specify and even option to request extra ice or no ice, condiments, etc. Waited about another 5 min on my fries that were ultimately not fresh. Didn't get any of the condiments specifically requested in the app. None of the staff seemed to be Management. All young kids mostly socializing versus trying to help with orders or acknowledging customers. So, moral of the story, if you're stopping here because you're in a hurry, don't. AND double check your order, especially straws, condiments, and napkins (of which...
Read moreTitle: Whataburger: The Undisputed Champion of Burgers and Shakes
If Whataburger were a movie, it would sweep the Oscars every year. I’m talking Best Burger, Best Shakes, and Best Supporting Service. Every time I walk in, I feel like a VIP at the tastiest party in town.
Now, let’s get to those shakes. Oh, those glorious shakes! They’re so creamy and delicious, they should come with a warning: "May cause intense happiness and immediate addiction." I’ve tried to make my own at home, but let’s be honest—blending ice cream with hopes and dreams doesn’t quite cut it.
But the real showstopper here is the burgers. Whataburger vs. In-N-Out? Please. That’s like comparing a gourmet feast to a sad desk salad. Whataburger’s burgers are massive, juicy, and bursting with flavor. Each bite is like a fireworks show in my mouth, complete with a grand finale of deliciousness.
The service at Whataburger is so good, I half-expect them to roll out a red carpet for me. The staff are always friendly and make sure my order is perfect, down to the last crispy fry.
In-N-Out might have its secret menu, but Whataburger has the secret to my heart. If you haven’t experienced the joy that is Whataburger, do yourself a favor and get there ASAP. Your taste buds will thank you, and you might just find yourself writing your own love letter to the king of...
